  1. Looks great Slarti , i was just about to mail you if you had the time to update your design. Again i'm not an expert but this one looks great to me. I think i will change my 1680 back to a RED one sometime. Just a little remark the yellow colour is a bit the yellow if you ask my opinion. Great work . Carpe Diem Cats
  2. Nice project i have to agree with Andy that the dial and hands are little too yellow/orange if you ask me. But all in all it's a great piece . Wear it well. Carpe Diem Cats
  3. Thanks TeeJay it looks good maybe great but a gen crystal makes a huge difference. I can tell you for sure since i put a gen 127 in my 1680. Nice GMT you got there Frank. Carpe Diem Cats
  4. Nice work Ubi that a real gifts for the lady. Carpe Diem Cats

  8. I don't agree. Customs do care what you got on your wrist. When your rep looks like a 1:1 copie you maybe get into trouble even more because they think it's a GEN. In Holland you are allowed to carry 3 reps with you when you enter the country. I think i saw a post on being very careful entering Italy with a rep around your wrist. I'm interested in the Italian situation since i will be leaving on a holiday in the first 2 weeks of May. Carpe Diem Cats
  9. I'm certainly not a expert but it looks great to me. One remark i think that the coronet and the 12 o'clock marker don't line up correct. The coronet should be shifted a little to the right at least that's what i think. This sounds promising and i will keep watching this topic if this one goes into production. Maybe a nice price for the first repsoning on your post ??? Let's wait for the real experts. Carpe Diem Cats
  10. Just got a PM from BK telling me that it will fit. Omegae who will do the replacement also confirmed that it will fit Could be a small issue with a soacer ring but that's a relative easy fix Omega said. Finally my old school MBW SUB will have a nice dial and hands in it. Thanks for all the advice agian. Carpe Diem Cats
  11. @ Ubiquitous, indeed the lume is the issue here. Problem is that it's hard to get a good lume job done on a NOOB dial without being able to see the relume job. Just got a mial from Omega telling me that i got a 2836 movement in my SUB and that it's possible to use the WM9 dial and hands. It might take some work though if the spacer ring is atteched to the back of the dial. I'll wait and see what BK will advise me. Thanks for the advise to all of you Carpe Diem Cats
  12. Thanks guys for the help. I want to upgrade my MBW SUB 16610 which o bought from Omega with a decent lumed dial and hands. The NOOB dial doesn't have a good lume. Does it make sence to order a V2 dial and hands ( as long as they have the same lume as the V3 )??? I'll ask Omega which movement is in my MBW SUB but i'm almost certainly think it's a 2836. 13. Maybe the dumbest question ever asked but i can't find the answer via the search button. Do the hands of a WM9 V3 modern sub fit the ETA 2836 movement ???? Thanks in advance Carpe Diem Cats

This is still the watch on top of my wishlist. Indeed with a pepsi insert it would be much nicer IMO. Wear it well. Carpe Diem Cats
  19. As Nanuq said the thermal shock looks the best methode to me. I wonder how the seal looks like when the caseback is so tight. Are going to change the hands or relume them to math them with the beautifull gen dial ?? Carpe Diem Cats
  20. Thansk guys, in the mean time i found and installed Opera Mini for BlackBerry and this brower show to full image as i have on my PC. As far as i can see now it works perfect. Carpe Diem Cats
  21. As the topic title says i can't find the "view new posts" button when i goto RWG on my mobile Everything else works as far as i can see but this button is my favourite. Am i doing somthing wrong or is there a solution for it. Carpe Diem Cats
  22. Thanks Alligoat, i already mailed BK for an offer for the dial and hands. He must be busy with his mails and building ( my ) watch(es) cause i didn't have an answer yet but i'm not in a hurry. I think i'll go for the WM9 route Carpe Diem Cats
  23. Hi guys, i'm searching for a dial and hands for my 16610 which has a noob marinier dial at the moment. The thing that bothers me the most about this dial and hands is the poor lume. I was thinking to get it relumed , but then i have the possibility that the reluming is too visable or i can replace the dial and hands by a WM9 V3 dial and handset. By the wat the case is a old MBW case ( the SUB i bought from Bobby last year ). Any suggestions on how to get this fixed ??? Thansk for your advise. Carpe Diem Cats
