  1. Then get it to a friendly watchmaker who, for a price will service and fit the highbeat. AJ
  2. Either swap out the movement for a high beat or if you're unhappy, send me some pics and your price I may buy her from you. Regards AJ
  3. Ive never seen this watch before with PR :-) AJ
  4. Honpo 187 PAM for me on OEM Kevlar and buckle AJ
  5. Earlier this week my very rare Honpo Pam 187 arrived from a great member (Hans) who previously bought it from another great member Richard Lawton. I immediately fitted my OEM divers kevlar Pam strap (Richard has one for sale) and these strap smake the watch and are so comfy and look the DB's. As always, I wanted to have a little play at cleaning and refinishing (OCD as most of us are) and tried something I never have previously and thought I would share it with you guys. So, with a soft toothbrush and a diluted with water alloy wheel polish I sprayed the watch and gently used the toothbrush all over the case and crystal and voila, what a great, clean and perfectly factory fresh looking PAM I am now wearing. It goes without saying that you need to know if the watch is waterproof to a lesser or greater extent and I washed off with warm soapy water and am delighted with the result and even more so with the watch! Regards AJ
  6. New to me the fabulous Honpo PAM 187 AJ
  7. I will show you in a couple of weeks my friend! He's reluming my Fiddy as well as the DSSD whilst both crystals are being AR coated :-) AJ
  8. I have just asked my modders to give me a red second hand so we can look like twins :-) AJ

  10. Guys I am after a Jaeger AMvox watch and wondered if any of our TD's supply or can get one or if not has anyone any suggestions who I could try? Many thanks AJ
  11. As I said a long time ago on this thread we're here to support not to run TD's out of town and there are many long time served guys here that have worked with Toro, myself included and he has always sorted things out. It is certainly, as Legend says, no way to endear yourself as a relatively new member by the bombardment on the subject. Regards AJ
  12. Not offended at all, As I say I would have used different words. AJ
  13. Go to original post, click edit, then under the box with the original post click Use Full Editor, you can then alter, change the main title and OP. AJ
  14. You can edit the title, go to more reply options and use full editor. We are all with you on your personal dealings with Toro, however I always like to chosse my words carefully and not fan the flames if possible. I for example would say: Major dissapointment and lack of correspondance from Toro, sam emessage and concern? Toro might be having a tough time, a personal crisis that has kept him away from his business we do not know. He will I am sure sort it out and we all want to see that happen. Regards AJ
  15. Here comes the Big Boys, my Hublot 4000 diver to start us off! AJ
  16. Agreed Legend. We should refrain from throwing large stones and Toro must get this sorted as a matter of urgency for sure!. I have bought over ten watches from him with only one not working correctly which was fixed. The less TD's we have the chances are the more monopoly which will might result in higher prices! Toro please address this urgently!
  17. Although still feels a tad small this beautiful IWC Portuguese is ideal for a suit/shirt and with her new Alligator strap looks a great piece. AJ
  18. Send a mail to SSTeel he's a top watchsmith and based in Finland AJ
  19. Not at all S, it is a known fact that two wheels do not go round bends as quickly as four on a circuit:-) AJ
  20. S I think straight line you might have the edge (might) however on a circuit with 4 wheels I think it might go in my favour :-) AJ
  21. Never, with the size of my watches it's too dangerous and uncomfortable! AJ
  22. All good thanks This 'little' beauty arived last week and with some special refinishing, clasp adjustment and a new strap looks a really superb watch. I hope I can get used to the relative small size :-) AJ
  23. Thanks Legend Yes I am known as Mr 100mph at most things I do :-) AJ
  24. My sincere condolences to the famileies and friends of the victims, crazy, simply bloody crazy!
