As you may have read I received my PAM 382 Bronze this week from Toro and after polishing yesterday have commenced the Patination program using Amonia (Rabbits urine in this case) red wine vinegar and some fertilizer and sawdust. The attached photo is before and after 1 hour, I will continue with the process and if time allows and I remember, will add to this periodically. AJ

Keep trying to capture the finish of the Bronze 382, did this on my morning walk with Buddy (Family Lab) AJ

Ive got a source, not cheap but a good source for 22,24 and 26mm bronze Tang buckles. AJ
-
Will do Legend once Orloff has finished the Rubberised Military (green to match dial) leather strap and the buckle is here, should be a couple of weeks max. AJ

The finish on the CG is excellent. its the light/angle. In the flesh the 382 is very hard to fault! AJ

You're right Panermaniac/Legend, the buckle is Ti, a tad dull and very light. I have a Bronze one coming and the only part that would touch is either side of the strap on bending one's wrist I guess. AJ

Feel, quality, finish are all excellent, movement looks great the bezel has a nice feel with a tiny amount of lateral play, is it worth $500? I'm very happy with my purchase and will not consider modding at all if that helps. I think they should have fitted with a Bronze buckle in truth however that's a minor point. Aren't most good quality reps, AP, PAM and so on all past the $400 mark now anyways? AJ

Not even to try as I know you'll not let me have her back! AJ

Your not having it Richard!

Sparingly I polished with Autosol metal polish to get her uniform and will soon start the Patina process AJ

It always tempting to ship multiple watches for sure to save on the shipping however if this happens you can loose the lot! Th ecustoms guys obvioulsy didn't fancy a Rolex but took a shine to the PAM's. AJ

AJ PS these do not come with a bronze buckle! Now fitted with my OEM JV strap, just need teh Bronze buckle to arrive.

I just looked at three of our top TD's and they all show a brushed SS buckle so I assume that one needs to buy a bronze buckle or live with a SS one! AJ
-
If it does I will have a spare, however from the photos I have seen to date they are a regular SS PAM buckle? AJ

You're both wrong, Pete and I have a standing joke about my C&R purchases! He says I am the champ at it although I think MOAB gives me a fair run! Here's a couple of shots of mine which is now en route. Regards AJ
