Put this 5002 with gen dial together with a little help from my friend Legend (many thanks) today so here she is tonight on the wrist. AJ
-
Ok, so another project is nearing completion thanks to my good friend Legend who sorted out an IWC 5002 for me to strip with the relevant hands and white date wheel. I have a couple of new straps for her, a black with white stitch from Peter (orange back again for just a splash of colour) and a Orloff PAM JV style nubuck strap. So finally the gen dial is married with the correct hands and date wheel, hope you like her. Regards AJ

And just to show that after a several days of being dipped in various solutions you can, with a little elbow grease and some autosol or similar, you can simply reploish all of the watch or parts to look worn as required. AJ -
Thanks Legend The beauty is if I want I can polish her up at any time. AJ

Thanks guys You simply cannot beat OEM straps to dress these up in my opinion. AJ

My 382 from Toro (ZF Factory) is a great watch and has proved to be a solid watch to have coped with the patination process I have subjected her to since her arrival a few days ago. AJ

Thanks She certainly is a beauty. AJ

Morning All So a few days has passed and further pee dipping has taken place. I now have a wonderful Bronze buckle ready to fit to my new Orloff rubberised green strap that is en route (photos of watch with strap and buckle will follow next week) but lets stay with the Patination. AJ -

Bloody Customs guys caught me for £42.69 Import duties today for my Fiddy however happy to pay and will wear her out tonight on her JV strap that has been waiting for weeks to be fitted. I will post more shots when I get chance. She has a gen crystal in an EL case with a wonderful Swiss movement which has been beautifully converted and modded by the master Marlin whom I would like to thank very much. Regards AJ

My daughter has a couple of House trained rabbits who pee and poo in a litter tray which has sawdust in it. I simply collected the urine drenched sawdust and added some fertilizer to make a really moist mix in the bottom of a plastic bottle and placed the watch upside down in and under it. AJ -
