  2. PAM 57c and Orloff JV straps newly fitted and on today! AJ
  3. So this morning the Postie arrived and rang the bell with a box from USPS So, out came the two Orloff JV straps I had made, a lug screwdriver and a loup ready for the strap swap, once I decided upon which JV strap to fit, the Black (grey) or the Grey (greyish brown). It was immediate to see the Grey matched the dial and compliments the titanium beautifully (Black one is on strap sales thread). I hope you like the attached photos, the strap was made for this watch, I do not believe there could be a better match in my humble opinion. The matching deployant will be here in a week or so but until then the Tang will do just fine. This is quite a rare watch as lots of you know and run the same movement with PR as the gen, I am really pleased and thanks to Ajax for the trade. Regards AJ
  4. Just put this strap on a very rare watch I received today and struggle to see how anyone couldn't like PAM's AJ

  7. It certainly is and indeed, so should it be at nearly $500! Regards AJ
  8. The two Orloff straps arrived this morning and I thought a 'Group' shot with my OEM JV strap might be nice. These seem to be the single most expensive PAM straps and it is not overly hard to see why as the process to take an Alligator strap and create it into a soft Nubuck leather must be time consuming, the finished product is indeed very special and often quoted as 'favourites by the connoisseurs and collectors. Regards AJ
  9. Thanks It is a KH (Kain Heritage) however please see a new thread as I now have moved onto an OEM JV strap just waiting for my new Super Swiss Fiddy from Marlin to put her on in a weeks time. AJ

  19. Recently I traded my PAM 029 with a great member here with his PAM 057c and wondered what strap to fit to her. I have a stunning full Swiss with gen parts Fiddy coming soon from the Master aka Marlin and have a beautiful $400 Gold JV OEM Strap waiting to fit to her. If you've not had one you simply must try as they are uber comfy and simply the most desired strap going. So I turned my attention to getting an OEM JV black.grey strap for the 57c and the cheapest deal I could get was $550 which is simply crazy, the $400 was enough and no one would budge on the price as apparently there is a waiting list and very limited numbers being produced. So I turned to the specialist guys and asked Mario to create me two, one grey and one black and although they are not yet here to show fitted, you can see the nubuck Alligator finish of them and appreciate why they are so sought after. I'd like to thank Mario for his speedy and excellent work and once fitted will add further photos. Regards AJ
  20. The latest theory of the crew possibly being involved in the disappearance is quite plausible? As you all know communications with a plane are constant however comms ceased rather rapidly and without explanation. The theory that the crew switched all comms off could be valid, however is it possible? The re-routing is now known, according to BBC with the possibility of the plane being landed without trace somewhere incredibly difficult but not impossible as the radar systems in the Indonesian area are fallible? Either way I too hope that all the passengers and crew make it if they are still with us. AJ
  21. I just bought two however have used them. Send a pm to BK and for $18 plus shipping he will send you a beauty. Regards AJ
