  1. Ok watch is still ticking fine, I'm guessing that its more like to start rusting then die from drowning 23/02/09
  2. Hi, its seems like my omega 600m divers watch cannot even handle a bit of condensation, during my stay in oslo (very cold), I noticed a beat of condensation on the inside of the glass, it would come and go every now and then. Im back in london now, and the condensation seems to have gone. Either way, I would like to get this watch waterproofed, is there any way I can do this in London UK. And whilst someone is going to open up my watch and mess around around with it, I might as well get it AR coated. Or, as an emergency measure how can I open up the back of the PO, to allow the condensation to evaporate out. Thanks Karim
  3. But my first and only rep this week, glad I went ahead with it, partly because I wanted my first buy to go through smoothly and I really couldnt go wrong in buying the rep from a respectable member of the boards who lives in the same country. I already have a few watches on my list, howeevr I'm taking it slowly as I just realised the watch I just bought isn't really what I reeeaaaly wanted, but just bought it to get on the rep ladder. I have a graham oversize overlord, breitling avenger, and a hip looking panerai in mind, howeevr I keep seeing new watches every day that tickle my fancy so I wont be jumping on the rep bandwagon any time soon. Oddly I noticed I've been a member here since 2007, and bought my first rep in 2009, reason being I joined here after a link was posted on another forum thinking I'll get an expensive looking watch for
  4. Alright, so my 2 year old Gen Base Quartz watch from argos has seen better days, the strap has split in 2 across the middle becase the cheap leather adhesive gave way. I tried to fix it with my shoe repar kit but the glue went everywhere and turned the strap into a big ugly mess, so I binned it. I figured buying a strap for this wretched thing will cost more than just buying a new watch, which would set me back between
  5. I guess I'm corrected on the waiters not being able to afford expensive watches thing, but I dont think I have ever seen an octagonal breitling.
  6. Well the waiter couldn't have afforded a real breitling, That means it was a rep which would mean either he picked it up from some street dealer and knowns nothing about watches, or is a watch enthusast and collects good reps.. The former is most likely the case,
  7. Hi I really like the panerai's and the breitlings, however I get the feeling that they are more sort of "dress watches" that you'd wear with a smart-ish outfit. I'm a lounge lizard, work for myself making money from SEO and internet marketing and spend my time hanging out in coffee shops, bars and clubs and spend most of my leisure time bacpacking around the world. I was looking for a suitable fun and funky watch that I can wear to reflect my carefree lifestyle and attitude, so far my creativity can fathom wearing something like maybe a funky coloured panerai like an orange/yellow face/strap, Also I really like the look of the graham oversize, Do you guys have any other recommendations for me? Im new to the rep world.
  8. Just bought this off amazon today, hoping they'd deliver on time, and fingers crossed no customs problems It's a Gen Casio with limited edition white face and Quartz Movement, what I like about this is that it doesn't have a cheap date feature like all the other wannabe watches the elegance in this is that it's so understated.
  9. Hi I searched on this site for information of these guys but havent receive any information about them... They seem even more cheaper than most replica suppliers, a breitling rep would ususally cost around $300 from most suppliers, but these guys sell it for $100. Sounds like a bargain but it's likely it could be scam. Anyone know about these guys at all?? Totalwise
