  1. Congratulation to you Jiro. Cheers Stephane
  2. Ooops, I shouldn't have all these drinks yesterday !
  3. Agreed. For some weird reason the Explorer II is at the bottom of my list. Well I guess it's because there are so much variations of subs and vintage Rolies. I'll get one one day, if a correct version pops out tough. White ? Black ? Same dilema here Cheers Stephane
  4. ooops, I think I misspelled: 558 - 585 Thanks for clarifying this. But, your link, what is it ? A source for bracelet ? Or only info...
  5. Forgot to mention: we wouldn't want to buy reps do we ?
  6. Ok, Pix. Here is what I have been told. MBK is a shop in Bangkok. The difference is thus they are not a manufacture. They put togheter watches from several parts coming from several places (some must be coming from China, but others are pure Thailand parts or even othere places, who knows really). The cases are obviously not made in the manufactories as our regular reps. They are "special" allthough not that perfect, as they accept genuine parts right away. The fact they are build from different parts and source also means they are not allways the exact same watches. Batch 2.358 can be very different from batch 2.357 The dial might be different, the insert...and so on. So, for sure, the quality of MBK (formerly MBW) is better than average reps but they still don't build the "Best Sub or wathever"! Calling a rep "so called MBW" is thus a lie and as stupid as calling a sub "so called perfect". No, a copy of MBK is not a genuine MBK...as they are not build by MBK So, be aware, if you want a genuine MBK buy it from an MBK AD
  7. Hmmm, why not get much more sources of information and type MBW* (please type the MBW and the star without any space: MBW*) right here on RWG ? Use the search button on top right of your screen. It will return pages of information. My advice: read them all before you make a choice. Cheers Stephane
  8. I know it happens, and that is not acceptable. Even registered mail is risky. Let's bear in mind, once again, this is an illegal hobby anyway.
  9. I have no idea Juca. I'm using genuines. Now, if you eMail the guys on eBay they will tell you.
  10. Well, woke up with this one near the bed so I will wear it again today.
  11. As we say in french: TTK: tu ne te sens plus pisser
  12. Yes, BK. I finished reading them out there and they are 100% helpful for the community. Cheers Stephane
  13. Wow, very nice post BK. I love to see these nude pics and the work. Hmmm, I'd love to have a transformer and quickly change the bezels. I'll try to take mine out tonight or tomorrow Thanks for sharing, Stephane
  14. Pug: agreed too. I jumped on that Montblanc and never wear it. I can't blame PT for that OffShore: yes, this place is educating. Without RWG I would have spent thousands on scam sites. And yes, you are right again about gens. It is a natural move instead of continuing spending 1K in a bad rep. I still prefer a 174
  15. Fantastic thread, great idea and for our community, it's should be pinned and maintained indeed... May I suggest that Chrod compiles from all the suggestions this thread will receive and post a new, clean one ? It should carry the dealer(s) information also... I would love to add some but they all are listed already. Many thanks. Stephane
  16. Dear all, First I would like to state is I agree with BT and Pug. Stop focusing on Eta. My Asians are still running too and most of the members say the same, they are great even if not Swiss. Isn't the Best Sub the TTK Noobmariner with Asian for 100$ ? Oh, yes, I did get a MBW too, you're right. But I had to put a Noobmariner dial in that MBW On the other hand, how the hell can a serious mind look at buying reps (not even modded) for 1K ? Those HBB are just a joke. I'm so happy I don't like them. A genuine great Omega can be found for 1.000$! The prices going up have had two consequences on my behaviour: - I only buy what I know I will wear instead of buying every single one I "so so" like and might want to add to my collection. - I buy second hand from members and start mods with genuine parts. As a price example, my 16610 modded with all it's genuine parts (except mvt of course) costs only 200$ more than some Ultimate out there. Now, an optimistic note: my last purchase costed me 174
  17. Belgian customs is very easy: nothing else but simple registered mail will pass the customs. As the packs are full of chinese or other asian writings, the waybill (slips) too, it's obvious it's might be counterfeit good. So, they all (ALL) are inspected by customs except the ones that are coming thru regular post (registered airmail). Registered mail might be inspected too of course,, but the two ones lately I got were not. Pls do not use EMS or any other DHL/Fedex/TNT. My four last one were seized. Another option, less economical but very safe, is buy from PT (PreciousTime UK) and TTK. Both can ship to Belgium from UK and that is of course never inspected. It's a little bit like drugs: 4 young guys in a cheap old car crossing the border from Netherlands to Belgium might be inspected where a familly in a Mobile home won't. See what I mean ?
  18. And when I'm in France I could go to Courtepaille !
  19. Ok, I said "why would you want another one" to Pug ! Because there is a new one that came in ! I should thank one of our respected member here for pointing this one to me and make me the happy owner of a great GMT. We should also thank ElPrimerozen for letting us know that this watch exist. Finaly, we should thank the collector for sending it very fast, safely and for a very fair price. So, this is my third GMT II (Ooops, sorry, GMT ll) and far the best one available to start mods. You read me well, I have two more and they might end in the sales section soon. Please, note that the insert is a piece of s**t and so are the lugholes. But that should be fixed by some nice modder very soon For the rest, well, have a look at the pics. Cheers Stephane
  20. Leon ? It's the Mac Do of the Belgian cuisine
  21. Hi and Welcome, Me too am from Belgium, but french speaking. I can't help for Silix as I never bought from them. Any of the collectors here have good subs. If you want an eta, I guess you may want the silix one. If you want a real good rep of the Sub go for the Noobmariner of TTK. It's asian but as many of us will tell you it's the best dial and bracelet available. Cheers Stephane
  22. Ah ah, some nice pieces here. You need help to get them out of your place...let us know how we can help
