  1. Great collection and as always, photos Stephane. :thumbsupsmileyanim: You've acquired some terrific pieces in a short period of time.....it took me a heck of a lot longer. Glad everything arrived safe and sound.

Thanks Jetsons. I'm a lucky bastard indeed ;)

Maybe I should throw my laptop away or find a new job in the night time to get more $$$ :g:

  2. From what I read on this board so far, it's very confusing wnating an Explorer II.

Some has mvt problems, most have not, some have correct hands some not...

At the end of the day, if one likes the GMT function, I would recommend a GMT Master II MBW.

I just got mine and the flaws are near to zero !

TTK could help you to get an MBW !

    Cheers

    Stephane

  3. Great news , thanks Stephane !

Looking forward to your next update ... im of buisness trip for 2 weeks but will check for your updates ... just cant alow miself to be late on this one :)

    regards Laz

    Guys,

PT will contact the factory on may 4th (labour day ...)

When PT comes back to me I will for sure start a new thread and post his price proposal.

Now, I'm not sure I will handle a GroupBuy unless YOU fully understand what is stated here under (sorry if it sounds rude but I feel it's better to be clear as we do not know each other):

    - I am not a dealer, a collector, nor willing to make money here.

    - I'm only trying to put this toghether to help other humans, who like me, love to collect these things, that's it.

    - Everyone is clear about "ordering is paying as fast as possible"

    - Orders are orders. Do not commit if you change your mind 24 hours later. If you're drunk when ordering (this may happen as it did happen to me once :animal_rooster: ) pls be a gentleman and honour your order by paying.

    - I do not guarantee customs risks of course. So no "Where is my strap, seems to be at customs, Stephane sucks, ...we're not doing business here, and for sure, not a regular hobby either. I'm only trying to help our little community and have enough references in my own life to prove I'm an honest person, which might not be the case of every single anonymous person here, who knows.

    - I do not guarantee quality (as I do not check the merchandise myself before it is delivered and that's too late to say anything about it unless they send us a yellow leather strap of course). So please no "it takes dust more than the gen".

    - I do not respond to PMs related to a GB. Every order/question must be posted in public.

    - Members must have PayPal or MoneyBookers as pmt method. No other way will be accepted.

    - REPEAT just in case: Members must have PayPal or MoneyBookers as pmt method. No other way will be accepted.

    - No referrals to rep in pmt communication otherwise I'll keep the money, won't send the strap (rather eat it) and forward your money to RWG :winkiss:.

    - Pmt communication should be RUBBER.

    - Any member putting a claim at PP or MB will be published here in upper case and bold.

    - Please note that I am not sending by EMS/DHL/Fedex whatever money you propose. Registered Airmail is my favourite and only method.

    - It is agreed that it might take more time to get your strap than you're dreaming of but that is part of the game guys.

    - You accept all the above mentionned conditions prior to order. If not, pls deal with someone else.

    - This mini group buy is intended for European based members ONLY.

    :thumbsupsmileyanim: Conclusion :thumbsupsmileyanim:

If you are still reading this and still willing to get a strap, I sincerely send my congratulations to you :1a:

Please look for the new thread in the next couple of weeks, should it ever happens  .

It will be called something like " PT PO 45mm Rubber strap" in the Omega forum.

    Cheers

    Stephane

  4. I think we might set up a thread where anybody can post, but the minute they post, the post is only visible for the admin staff here. Maybe this way we will finally be able to get a real picture of how big this problem really is.

    YES

    You are right Admin.

Many members do not want to post in public for several reasons.

So, the Admin team should at least be updated with what happens in the real life of the boards without getting tons of PMs.

There are so much nice persons here, but, unfortunately quite a few "strange people" too.

    YES

  5. What the hell can one say ?

This is the best review I've ever read, really.

In one post only I learned all I should know about the history of the watch that is going to be delivered to me in a couple of weeks.

:D Congrats to you but not only: Thank you very much for spending ? a week ? to put it all toghether ?

    Bravo! :thumbsupsmileyanim:

  6. ...but I'm still wandering if ordering a MBW different from a vintage model worth the extra money, like the GMT... did you have the opportunity to compare it to another one?

Well, I didn't yet check it out in details but what I noticed is that the writting is much smaller than the one on my regular rep thus closser to the gen.

The crown at six is completely invisible without a very very close look...

The bezel font is different to, the dat font and mag, the bracelet clasp...

So, only those details on the MBW GMT II are significant enough to my opinion to spend an extra 100$.

If only I had known RWG a year ago I wouldn't have spend almost 900

  7. Dear All,

Being part of a group buy is fantastic but is also very frustrating.

Waiting for everyone to choose their watch, set up a MoneyBookers account and pay TTK requires a certain amount of patience.

Now, having said that, it also teached me to be "part of a community buy" instead of being "selfish and on my own, screaming Where is MY watch".

I had a very stressy day/night these last 30 hours as we're moving, which is quite common.

But we do move our business prior to the home. And, moving the business means move two racks of servers linked to 6 E1 that are live 24/7.

Here a little movie from my fellow Christian D. about the move.

    239826-10219.jpg

So, after almost 30 hours of sweating, I checked the post and

  8. I think Stephan is also lookin for one but atm going through his source (PT) he told me he will let me know what he finds out .

But i would be in also if 4 of us would order from where Pugwash and company ordered from ( i think its Slix) , 4 straps per package as i rember ...

    Laz

    Hi All,

I'm still waiting for news from PT but it shouldn't be that long anymore...

    on april 19 PT said:

"I have heard of news, of a new strap coming in approx 2 weeks time.

This is better than the current straps on the market.

When this is released i can give you an accurate figure".

So, let's wait as it seems a better quality is coming in a week from now.

    Cheers

  9. When will people learn?

    Hi,

I read this entire thread now.

TwoTone is right and the short cut is: When will people learn?

Crazy: all of us lost dollars in mods and customs seized wathches.

For these losses we could have start to keep $$$ for a gen.

Anyway, good luck for the Joe customers :black_eye:

Personaly, I'm sorry to say negative things, but if you ask me $$$ for a minute work I'm not ok with months nor weeks of wait time to get my watch back.

It's a shame and should be posted as a scam.

    Stephane
