  1. Take an example: Pug's SteelFish (or "Poisson d'acier" for Frogs)... I was about to order it from PT today because I was saying to myself: order now or it will not be available anymore. [censored]. Business is business. There will be plenty of these available for months. I didn't yet order it thus. And, suddenly, today too, I got a mail from PT about a watch I ordered from him and that will be on my wrist next monday. I don't even think about ordering a SteelFish anymore now. I might do so, but after all my current orders are delivered. Am I a little sad about not getting the SteelFish like everybody else here ? YES. What I mean is that we do order and review way too fast because we are enthusiast (which is great) and that we would never act like that in our own professional lives. Cheers Stephane
  2. Sorry to hear Richard. Seems like all doctors are proposing hard stuff without even saying it's hard. They should not continue to give them once the op is over. Minimizing the facts is their usual behaviour and that is wrong. One said to me that I wasn't alcoholic though I drank alcool every day since 20 years (was drinking in evening time only, but started everyday at 7 PM with "un ap
  3. Dear All, I noticed something. - When one receives the new long expected watch, the post here at RWG is almost instantaneous. - It is often very positive about the dealer. - After a while, allthough the first post was positive, one can read a lot of negative comments: "blabla does not ..." Why not wait for at least a couple of days to post a dealer review? Just my thought but I am feeling that some of the most respected dealers are becoming less respected these days. It is thus not helping the community at all to post too fast. Dealer reviews should be helpfull for us, consumers. Of course, the same is true for members initially posting bad reviews.... What is your opinion? Cheers Stephane
  4. Your photos are always welcome Why not some more !
  5. Sorry no wrist shot yet. But I'll wear this one (from Phoband) as I: 1. Polished it 2. Set a Bob band on it. Cheers Stephane I'll try to make some shots this week-end
  6. My goodness, I wish I could get one like that...
  7. not important either. But: Precious time is a pleasure to deal with
  8. Great review indeed. Thank you very much. Cheers Stephane
  9. I too agree: Zenith and JLC have models from around 4k with complications placed completely differently from the eta and so on cn mvts. They should never be repped, unfotunately. Cheers Stephane
  10. Oops, sorry to hear Neil. Sincerely you will get better. When that is, can you post an update for your buddies of the group buy ? Some of us are getting too nervous about that buy. It would be a good idea to cool down the thread. Cheers Stephane
  11. My 2 cents: I paid weeks ago and got a great compliment from Neil about my fast pmt. For sure I expected that my 3 watches would arrive soon but after a while I realised that not everybody paid. So, to Falco and all of us that paid weeks ago, we are waiting for others to (finally) pay and make up their mind on which watch they (finally) want at the end of the day. But, Falco, I agree with you: Neil, you should at least keep us posted. It's more than frustating to wait, but it's absolutely not nice at all to have no news. Since I transfered my good dollars for this group buy, I ordered a lot of watches and I'm currently receiving one a day ! TTK: pls keep us informed. I am used to deal with very well educated Brits, and it's a pleasure to do so. Cheers Stephane
  12. I'm bidding here: if that girl sells pieces of [censored] for 200$ I'd buy 3. Seriously ? My choice would go for option 1
  13. I have small wrists to (dont ask what size I have no idea) but I wear Panerai 45mm, Breitlings and a PO 45 and I just feel terrific with it. You should follow you own feeling !

  19. Hmmm, today ? That animal again
  20. I am very sorry too to hear another sad experience. 1. I think we all need to follow TTK's and other advice: find a local watchsmith. But that ain't easy at all. 2. But first, our dealers MUST do QC before they send out our orders. In 100% of the cases it will avoid the problem of sending the watch back as no non functionning watch should ever be originaly shipped of course. In your situation, you are not faulty, King is because she did not check the watch prior to let it go from China. It is does normal that a new one is sent to you. In other situations, like after a year the watch stops, and you decide to send it back to China, it's your responsability. Cheers Stephane
  21. Teknotronik, r11co is damn right man. You cannot continue to over post because it's useless. I have a question for you by the way: why don't you spend some $ to support the board instead of being apprentice ? Cheers Stephane
  22. Wow! Another item to chase now Edited: there is one here: http://cgi.befr.ebay.be/SEIKO-ORANGE-SCUBA...VQQcmdZViewItem Edited: I found it and bought it. Here it is:
  23. According to members experiences: For a lot of members: - No Fedex: vat inspections and thus other queries possible For myself: No EMS: custom inspected 100% Hmmm, what about travelling to CN to pick up our watches ourself. We could organise a RWG "Rep Boat Cruise" and sing all toghether "Love Boat, ...." Cheers Stephane
