  1. Yeah, Life with the Lions, I almost forgot that one. Well, some how it all started with Revolution N
  2. Great story to read Demsey. I will soon have the same heart racing again when the turntable comes in. I too have all the beatles LP, but only the regular ones, no bootlegs no rarities. I'm pretty sure I will hunt for more again, like when I was 14 in the seventies. My big regret is that I was born in 1960, not ealrier It must have been fantastic to cue at the record store on june 1st 1967 @Freddy: the wedding album is a very nice object, isnt'it ? Of course, the music is ...hmmm, a litle special
  3. Freddy you kill me. I sold them all Two Virgins, Wedding album...first UK pressing of first album of The Beatles, bootlegs, jingles, interviews... Ah, what a stupid assxxxx I was. Now I'm buying a new HiFi with a modern Thorens turntable and will have to buy them all back... You lucky man...you are...

  6. I have been VERY lucky with this one. It has an history, allthough no original stamped papers, and is in perfect state. Keeps great time and is carrying one of those silver dw wich are really "rare" to get on a pre-owned watch. Get yourself one, you will love it!
  7. Great looking watch indeed Rosnik. Makes me want to put my nodate on the wrist too (but lend it to a local member ) Now, if you need a bracelet, I still have a Noob one here but the end links have been badly shaved (by me!!!).
  8. Cool, great to hear! Lovely city indeed. Last time I was there with Etienne. We are both Pastis/Ricard/Pernod drinkers. We went to a photo exibition of a friend, after what we ended up in a trendy bar. The barmaid was very nice but didn't know how to serve our stuff. We ended up with a coktail glass full of alcool where usualy you put 1/5 or 1/4 of alcool and the rest is water and ice... Can't remember how we came back to the hotel
  9. Going Mate, with some tritium and some silver (date wheel). 16800
  10. Fantastic! Thanks Chris. How about joingning us so we can meet you? @Andy Great to see the Captain is back here... I think we might start a new definitive thread soon, and I will close this one, let's discuss. @all I will discuss the details with Andy off line and we will come back with a final proposal for the schedule. The date is set anyway. It's the saturday 23rd of may. No changes can apply to the date as some of us have already booked planes/trains... Program wise we might have to give some options to choose from. Cheers Stephane PS: can't wait to have it happen again...the previous one is still in my memory as a great time and souvenir.
  11. I'm fortunate mines keep perfect time. 2 have not been serviced and don't gain nor loose a second for 48 hours at least, sometimes more. Same for the one I serviced. I think it's a matter of luck, specialy with the pre-owned ones of course.
  12. Ah, ah, well for sure it would be a great "happening". But I won't let that happen. I mean I have a genuine Bergeon dice here, but I'm missing the 400 to 500
  13. After 3 days of 1655, gave the new baby a day off. Due to Stilty's 1680, I'm back to my old one today
