  1. Never post something if you don't want to be ridiculed. We all have different tastes. You don't have to like what I like and I don't like what you like. That's the beauty of being an individual. Vegas to me(and others) is a [censored] hole.
  2. What ever happened to 'read up!' ? Wish I could get all the answers that quickly. Crap, I haven't had my coffee yet!!!!!!
  3. Thats like 'what aisle is the bread in?'. The one that says 'bread' on it, dofuss.
  4. Curious, that, um, Fossil- new battery or...?
  5. Hey, if you want it go ahead. Those last few shots look ridiculous.
  6. Wow, there should be more like you! Glad you are enjoying this sickness and I hope you love your new toy when you get it.
  7. That site is useless! I need more info and it takes forever just for a color change from model to model. Whatever.
  8. And, please, before you get burned by most here- if you're new and don't know if you should post or not, then check! Why find out the hard way and get a bad taste? Plus, that's a clothes site? This is mainly for time keepers. There are thread areas for that, though.
  9. Have you checked the dealers?
  10. This has become the situation for many jobs so far. Lots of hours, lower pay, more qualifications and less of them out there. At least with all the people I have talked to about this feel the same and the types of jobs very alot. Definitely not a fun time to look for a job.
  11. I'm sure there must be a thread or two related to topics like these somewhere in this forum, yes?
  12. Are you any good with some tools? Take the back cover off. More than likely the rotor came off. You may find it loose along with the screw that holds it on. Find them and put them back. Test it working before you put the cover back on. Search the forum for loose rotor and images so you may get clearer info. Piece of cake.
  13. Just hitting one brand after another.
  14. Too bad there aren't more newbies like you, y.pango! Thanks for actually taking the time to read all you can to help yourself - that's what it's there for, to educate not ignore. Take it all in and become smarter and make your own decisions. You can find out so much from just reading, if all Noobs did, they would be able to formulate their answers and not be flamed.
  15. Alright then, grab a pen and paper and search the TDs sites- I'm sure you will find something pretty quick.
  16. If you read this forum, say a page a day, over the past 2.5 years that you have been here, you would have had your answer long time ago. Just saying. *Wow, sorry, I shouldn't be reading this first thing in the morning, but these kind of questions are killing me. And shouldn't this be in the 'no flame' zone? Flame on!*
  17. Sure. I would also like it to resemble the one I want, too. Make a Rep with quality materials and stick a quartz in it shouldn't be that difficult depending on model. I've noticed that Kuvarsit has some Reps in quartz that I have not seen on other sites, so there must exist more makes, but they are just not offered. And I would much rather see an actual photo on a site than ask a TD if they can get something without actually seeing it. Or use up the TDs time wanting to see the quality just to reject one after the other and tick off the TD. Maybe I should check PriceAngels, or is that site still disorganized and avoided as a scam?
  18. There are threads on all the questions and ways of the Rep on this here forum, which if read would lead one to a better understanding of how to go about living in the Rep world. Why Reps are the way they are, the lows and highs, care of Reps, whom to buy from and how, fixes and modifications, etc., all of these Rep Life questions are here to help one enjoy this hobby more and know what to expect before making a haste decision and then ask Why!?. Costs of an object does not guarantee quality. Even $100k autos have recalls.
  19. ^very good point^ I love the mech. aspect of watches, but for some models like this(non chrono) why is it not common to use quartz? Some will still buy it only in mech. form, but they might , also, increase sales just because of being cheaper in price w/quartz. O, well, I'll just dream then.
