Being new to this 'reppy' scene I wanted to get a look inside the cheapish reps I bought in Egypt.
Not having a tool to get the backs off got me thinking and this is what I came up with
Before...
After...
Works very well!
As a little reward for my ingenuity could someone identify this movement for me? The chrono pushers do nothing but advance 2 of the subdial hands a little with every press.
Just wandering what your experiences/thoughts are on the servicing that some of the dealers offer.
Has anyone done a review or strip down of a watch that they paid the extra for the pre-service?
I am about to put a fair amount down on a watch and was wandering whether to have it serviced by the dealer or have it serviced elsewhere.
Your thought would be apreciated.
I was a bit dissaponted when I saw the new iMac in person, they had kept showing this super slim side profile and then when I saw the thing in person it's got a huge bulge in the middle on the back!
Apple seem to hide this well in their litrature as you have done Sir in your pictures
Lovely machines though regardless of a belly bulge
I picked up this Navi in Egypt for £45 (after some hard bargaining!) I appreciate it's not the best of reps but I think for that price I done well?
It came with the stainless strap and they threw this leather one in for free. I prefer the leather.
It's 44mm has a light AR coating, seconds are at 6, working chrono and has a Jap? quartz movement.
I am after a Navitimer, I choose 2 trusted dealers PC & TT Neither have the model I want.
Do these dealers re-stock often or is it a long wait?
I am looking for a TT/SS Black dial with TT/SS bracelet, 3,6,9 Chrono with the new 7750 Stick not numerical.
Cheers
Hi all,
I have been smitten with Breitling Navitimers for ever and more recently IWC military style watches and the Tag Manaco's.
I will get my head stuck into some reading here and i'm sure some ridiculous questions will prevail...
Cheers.
