Are people still using MD202 for repairs?? Sounds like we have just two (2) outstanding members with problems with Mike?? This situation really is too bad. I think things originally went from GREAT... to OH NO... to BAD... to WTF... and now I am sure Mike wont be getting much if any work going forward. I disagree with Mike having his own section and this problem being resolved and/or never being a problem. I also disagree with having to be "polite" after numerous requests to getting your watch(s) back. If good customer service was there from the begining no one would be getting upset and none of these issues would be around. At what point do people start showing up to Mike's "shop" and demanding a refund?

Well I paid the asking $2,400 for the TT watch on RG.... I have a gen 18k gold bezel assembly. My only concern will be the WM9 bracelet and how well it will hold up... as long as it holds up long enough until TC comes out with his TT bracelets.

Sorry to thread jack... I just sent a PM on that 16613 on RG for intent to buy... I am going to see if my $4.5K on my 16803 build is going to be worth it or not... if not and this 16613 is just as nice I am going to part the 16803 out and try and make some money back...

It really is crazy the thought of people doing this... and with bad reps. A lot of us have reps (frankens) that we could do the same thing and there is a 99.9% chance that no one would ever notice in the sales thread and also 99.9% chance that the buyer would never notice until they send it to Rolex to get serviced. Just amazing how people try to take advantage of other people....

Are a lot of you STILL having issues not getting a response? For the record, I HAD $4,500 worth of watch parts with Mike (MD2020) when this whole thing blew up. Mike has been responsive to me and returned my watch parts as I asked. Communication was hit and miss during his personal hardships but all ended well on my end. I have seen him post a few things on the boards over the last week so I know he is still around. Is everyone ready to move past this chapter?

Very nice... I got mine about a week ago. Yes, if you dont have a TC... GET ONE!! I own two of them and now with the supply drying up I will not be selling these babies off. Time to start making these superfrankens and putting gen movts. in them.

I think I am going to stay with the build guys... I have had the input I was looking for and EVERYONE has stated to stick with the 16803. After working with and looking at the TT bracelet today with the 2 piece endlinks it does not bother me that much at all. I also looked at some GEN 16803's and the 2 piece endlink bracelets and this WSO bracelet is spot on. With that said... anyone have a V4 (newest version) of the TC clasp you would like to sale me? Thanks for all the feedback and advice. I am working with someone now to get this build completed.

Well after doing more research today I think I am going to stick with the 16803 build. It is more unique and will be overall a better build to add to my collection. I have two 16610 (LV & LN) already and also a YM. I also have my 16200 Datejust... I think this 16803 will put my collection over the top. Now.......... just to find someone who can get my movement serviced/back together and then assemble the rest of the watch.

The dial is NOT the "nipple" dial.... I am roughly into this build $4,500 for all these GEN parts. The case is NOT engraved and has ZERO markings, even on the case back (as you can see in the pics).

I think I need to find a member who may be interested in making some trades.... This case really is 100% spot on and BRAND NEW. But everytime I look at the 16803 and the 16613 next to each other the solid endlinks and the solid case (no lugholes) I really like the 16613 better. If I do move to the 16613 build I need a TC case and I also need someone to buy this WSO TT bracelet from me so I can source a TT solid endlinks bracelet, which WSO says that they have... Bracelet is also brand new as you can tell from pics.

I bought all of these parts from correctime and have been told that the case is a phong case. Gen Dial, hands, DW, crown, bezel, insert, crystal and gen 3035 movement. Just the case and bracelet are REP. the bracelet is from WSO and is GREAT quality but I dont like the 2 piece endlinks.

Okay guys... without opening a can of worms... lets just say I am back to square one with my build (pictures below). I have a questions/feedback on what you guys think. This build is a 16803 not a 16613.... main difference is the lugholes in the case and two piece endlinks on the bracelet and clasp is all SS and not TT. My question... I like the overall look of the 16613 (no lug holes) and solid endlinks better.... Do I abort the 16803 and jump to a 16613 build, which means sourcing a new case (probably a TC) and getting rid of this 16803 with lug holes case. I would also need to sale this TT (wso from the bay) bracelet with 2 piece endlinks and get a TT bracelet with solid endlinks. Thoughts????

This thread was created to call out people that have been having issues with MD... no reason to hijack the thread by inserting comments that have nothing to do with getting the issues resolved. It just causes unneeded drama within the group. We are all here for the same reason(s)... our watches. Its Friday... Cheers.

I know that you have to buy in insert... but the TC Sub is 100% the best watch for watch (pound for pound) out of the box REP that you can buy and I am willing to test ANY watch to that. As far as accuracy and 1:1 rep to GEN. The TC Sub is 100% the best and 100% will make any one happy. Trust me.. I own three (3) of them...
