All, So I have decided to take on a project to build the Ultimate Modern Daytona Franken 116520. I have seen plenty of Zenith Daytona's but nothing in the realm of 116520. So I hope you learn from my experience and what goes into a build like this. Here are the parts I was planning on using Gen Parts: - Genuine 4130 Movement - Genuine 116520 Black Dial - Genuine Crown and Tube - Genuine Crystal with LEC @ 6 - Genuine Hands - all 6 of them - Open display case back[emoji14] Rep Parts: - JF Factory Midcase 23J - BP Bracelet as it seems like it has a better fitment than the stock JF Bracelet - I might go with a genuine bracelet but I am personally not a fan of scratches so might do a leather strap with custom end links. Now when it comes to helping me with the build, I only trust [MENTION=29193]misiekped[/MENTION] with my rollies builds. Please by no means I am an expert and I wouldnt doubt that there is some digital illusion in play. I am sure there are better experts out here than me.

I personally think that the RED TEXT is slightly bigger.

Here are my observations, please feel free to agree or disagree with me. •The triangle at 12 seems a little lower on gen •The “0” shape in the ZEROS can be improved •The shape of “6” in 610 can be improved •The arch of “S” in Sea can be improved •The “DW” in Dweller are almost touching in gen •The necks in the crown need to be a little thicker This one is a maybe so I will put this separately, I think the text on the 2 RED LINES is slightly BOLDER on gen.

With some builds the cost of a Phong case is justified while others it makes no sense. If you are building a submariner, go with TC. But if you intend to build a 1665 or 16520 then Phong is the way to go. Sent from my LG-H901 using Tapatalk
