  1. W - if 50% of the people who picked up my dials take 1 case each then "interest" should be into triple figures. Just to throw something into the debate - it's my understanding that with a single lug screw system this would be a totlly accurate case for 5218-209 , 5218-210 and Pre-A OP6500 models (001,002,003,004,009,010) If correct this should have a bearing on the level of "interest" so I'd welcome any clarification from "The Sages"! Cheers FGD

  24. I find the easiest way is to add an insert into the "dish" of the crown so that the lever connects. This can be combined with an additional ruber gasket on the underside of the crown as well. Looks far better than extending the tube or filing the CG feet which is very very difficult to get right without precision machinery/tools I have used an old sandwich dial (about 0.2 - .3mm thick) and cut a small square. Then polish this square up (unless you have a PVD crown) to achieve a satisfactory finish. Then using a swiss file and/or dremmel with sanding wheel - shape the square into a circle hat will fit snugly into the recess of your crown- fix with some impact adhesive when you are happy with the shape and finish. Maybe a half hour job and nothing permanent done as with filing CG's etc. Cheers FGD
  25. Oh yes - looks spot on !! More photos please - I am keen to see more of DSN's ultimate case set!! Cheers FGD
