-
i could be in for a Ti CG....but at what cost?
-
they can make a more accurate orange bezel....like they did with the 42mm 4th gen...
-
I beleive that is the new movement that The Zigmeister recently said had issues..
-
That is off the hook! where did you get it PVD'd? I would love to copy that!
-
I think the Panerai chrono reps with the 7753 movement are the most expensive right now, $650-750.
I do remember there was a Fiddy rep last year, with a genuine fiddy movement, that was selling for $2-3k
-
got mine today
now off to The Zigmeister!
-
all you dam Panerai freaks ! ..

dial looks good too
...

need more links
...........and here she is!
-
WOW! I love that strap!
Does this guy have a website? is there a link?
-
hello,
crowns are not necessary, palp already did some perfect ones.
best wishes
He has not done a run of Ti crowns yet though....
-
If anyone needs an extra link, I will send it out free of charge.
Did I mention that this watch DOES have AR coating. Not heavy, but noticeable. I can't wait to walk into Tourneau or another jeweler in Chicago on Sunday. I'll be treated like a king. No one could tell that this watch is a rep unless they had a gen side by side to compare the date font. Incredible.
I will take it!
I have a member sending me 1 1/2 links for this, but I always seem to need 2 extra..
please and thanx..

Here's a pic of my new Ingy Thingy. I think it has a great wrist presence. Much better than either the 45mm or 42.5mm PO. Those long lugs paired with a 22mm lug width make it look silly. This thing is incredible. Date font fix and it' is PERFECT. What do you guys think. Garden and sunshine (thanks EL) pics will come tomorrow.
Oooooh
Ahhhhhhh
I hate waiting!

Hey i am glad you like it. but the problem on my watch is much worst than just the chip pain on the dial. If you look at my picture and very marker are off center from number itself and that bothered me alot. As you can see my picture below every single stickmarker seats right blow the first letter of a number instead of the center of the whole number. I hope you see what i mean.
Enjoy your watch.
yeah, i agree. I could proboly live with the chip. the chip on yours is not nearly as bad as some others that have been posted.....but the misalligned markers are just plain messed up!
....as I said before, If I was you, i would get a new dial from Eddie and just swap the bad one out....
-
I got it in about 1 minute. Really easy. One link out, perfect fit.
I'm stunned by this watch.
Pics Pics Pics !!

@nguyendd...
If I was you, I would keep the watch and get a new dial from Eddie that fixes the two issues with yours. As is, your watch is a amazing rep, pay someone a few bucks (my guess $20-30) and replace the dial.
@RT...
to me, Devedander's question was legit. remember we have had some shuffling of dealers through this proccess, and this could lead to some confusion. I think Devedander just wanted to verify both dealers were offering the same watch and service. but, if he ment it the way you read it, I would agree with you.

I think some are losing perspective.
My request was made to both EL and Jay,..beyond my recommendations, that we simply
take advantage of what every member here, has access to, Great Post Delivery Customer Service,
as I realized from the start that our buying power gives us advantage in discounts,...
not in service beyond what is currently available to those paying full price.
If you encounter a problem, then have it taken care of, as always, in private, until
such time when public exposure demands it.
The RWG curtesy to our dealers should be no less within group buys.
I feel however that it should extend further...
Hey RT,
First, let me thank you again for all the work you did in arranging this for us.
That being said, I don't think any concerns raised to this point are above and beyond what one should expect if working one on one with a dealer, at full price.....
I also don't feel these concerns have been addressed in a discurtious manner....
Buying reps is a bit of a gamble, but we try and hedge our bets by requesting dealers to look out for known issues before sending our watches. that being said, I can barely see the chip on nguyendd's watch...and its blown up 500%....so this would be a non-issue for me....the off setting of the dial markers would be more upsetting to me though...
All in all, I look forward to receiving this watch, and hopefully all will be well!
-
@ those who are receiving their watches....
P O S T P I C S ! ! ! ! ! ! !
...so those of us still waiting (well, at least I) can live vicariously through ya'all....
Tom Petty said it best, "The Waiting is the harrrr-dessst parrrrtttt" ! ! ! ! !
-
Just wondering what the general state of oiling of the 2824/2836 movements used in our reps. Has anyone done a review before, and if so can someone kindly provide a link? Thanks!
See The Zigmeister's forum....
-
Thanx RT, for all your work on this !
One Question, are both El and Jay going to inspect each watch? or just drop ship?
thanx again.

Nice Angus,
As Slay said, Can you find out how the bezel markers are installed? The problem of them falling off is very common...one of the main issues keeping me from buying one of these...
