  1. Wow, truly beautiful. I could just climb up and sit at the top with a good book, a thermos full of tea and some chocolate digestives. You are a lucky man Nanuq, I can see why you choose to live up there. It's a healthier, happier, freer life. Enjoy my friend.
  2. Came across this Breitling in the wild. Any guesses on the model? http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WQyhcWni-4M
  3. Good choice! I'm doing likewise. Got a Luminor 44mm from Trusty and now looking at a 372 Fiddy Brevettato.
  4. Haha! Just goes to show the quality of these super-reps. They can occasionally fool even watch nuts who also happen to be gen Brietling owners. I think with modern technology and the increasing demands on quality from customers like us, the gap between gens and reps is slowly decreasing and decreasing. There will come a point where the exterior of the watch in nigh-on indistinguishable from the gen to the naked eye.
  5. Thanks Rene, the watch looks amazing and it's actually an incredibly good fit for your wrist. Very good choice!
  6. I was doing my usual morning routine of Hot Rod videos when I came across this. We have a guy with an amazing collection of Power Boats (at first I thought this could be Offshore) and cars followed by some good ol' Hot Rod mayhem http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6yAmgec2OhY A watch does feature in this video as well, I'm just not sure what watch Dennis is wearing.
  7. Very through and informative review there! The watch looks fantastic on the Panatime strap, I love how the yellow of the stitching matches-up so well with the yellow of the dial. I agree with each point you've made although a few things you pointed out that I hadn't even noticed! You've taken some great pictures of the watch-strap combo. Wear the watch well mate.
  8. Wow! Love the Kawasaki! Is that a ZX10R? You have a great collection of watches there. What have you got your eyes on to get next?
  9. Very nice watch there René, you should give us some wrist shots. Guess I'll have to settle for the rep version for now since the gen is out of reach.
  10. Lol, love it Dave! We Need a bit more humour, it's always good :-) As Deckard said to me today, with tongue firmly in cheek, "that would be the US Navy" ;-)
  11. Well said Deckard and Martijn. Likewise from me; hope everyone across the pond has a wonderful Independence Day today!
  12. Independence Day UPO for me today
  13. Welcome to RWG mate. Would love to see pics of your VC and bikes! I did have a Monster many years ago however a meeting with a hedge a fence and a tree soon changed that.
  14. Another nice watch there. How many did you get at one time?! Love the mesh bracelet, it gives the watch an elegant look. Surprised that the crown isn't a screw-down however I don't know enough about the Transocean to provide a definitive answer. Regardless, it looks gorgeous. You'll certainly get many an admiring glance at it.
  15. I agree with ceejay and SSteel. The chrono seconds hand is so close to being spot-on that I doubt anyone would ever notice it in person. This looks like a very nice rep and if it was my money I would give it the green light. After all, if you ask for another watch it's flaws could be more pronounced and you could be forever trying to find the perfect rep (which I doubt exists, at least for now). And you can always get them fixed at a later date if they really bother you.
  16. Weirdly, I have pretty much the same issue with my UPO. I assumed there was no fix to this unless I was to get a gen bracelet, which is pricey!
  17. Very nice watch there, and works so well with the leather strap. Gives the watch quite a purposeful look. Wear it good health my friend.
  18. Welcome to RWG! There's a wealth of information in the Rolex forum: http://www.rwgforum.net/forum/143-the-rolex-area/ And the Omega forum: http://www.rwgforum.net/forum/146-the-omega-area/
  19. Hi nicks, welcome to the forum! Please do post some pictures of your gens. We all love some good old watch-porn here!
  20. Hi watch-fob, welcome to RWG. Like moose said I haven't heard of your site either. Could you please provide more info as to where you're based, what you provide, any your specialty in the world of watch making/selling.
