I've recently contacted Marlin and he says that although there have been some V4's released they've been in very limited numbers. Therefore, Marlin currently has a waiting list going that's probably growing by the day. If you're interested in getting quite possibly the best 127 (outside of getting a gen) I'd recommend getting on that list ASAP. Under normal circumstances Marlin's turnaround is 1-2 weeks however with China being out of stock, it's going to be a fair bit longer I think. I'm just using this time to save up for one of Marlin's awesome 127's. Can't wait....

Love Seikos. Had a Seiko Orange Monster as a daily-wear for several years and it was by far and away my favourite watch. So tough and reliable. I'm really liking your Solar Chrono. Has all the benefits of the monster in a smarter package. Good choice my friend :-)

Very true. After having a second, more thorough look I see they don't have any pictures of any finished articles.

They seem quite an impressive company with some very nice fabrication, and the movements look good as well. I only wonder how reliable they are and what the prices are.

I agree with Devilseam that's it's most likely to be an issue with the minute and second's hands coming into contact with each other. I would also recommend getting the watch serviced. My PO with an ETA 2824-2 is currently away getting serviced and seeing rust on the balance wheel as well as dirty and old parts makes me glad I chose to have the watch serviced. It was running without any major issues so far, only a "little" slow (losing 30secs/day) however seeing a tear-down of the gear-train and the condition of the main spring just goes to show the poor state these old ETA movements are in. Coupled with mediocre QC in assembling the watch it's just a matter of time before it stops working intermittently or permanently.
