Doesn't exist. 089 is one of my all time favorites... it is 100% Titanium case with anthracite dial... which has no blue in it. The cartel rep makers have stopped making the true pam089.

While I had my case in the vise I decided to machine it... Gotta have a plan... do some math... and measure, measure, measure... Lots of light passes because of the way it's held in the vise... It's held using the case opener on the back so the lugs dont touch... And the finished product... seen with oem crown, custom crown tube and LH CG... CG sits perfectly flush on both sides

Just finished a little different technique. First had to make the tool... Then secure the case in my machining vice... being careful to protect the case... and secure the vice to the base... Then I chuck the tool in the drill head and simply lift...

I'm sure some are "Concerned" about how close some of the reps are getting... panerai started engraving all sorts of parts and making things more intricate... I doubt the rep factories are watching though... otherwise they'd be way further along... how many times do they seem to be going backwards in their accuracy or quality... how many times is V1 better than V3?? just like in software... they're more interested in shutting down the manufacturers and distributers than the buyers... that's the only thing that will slow the progress... also keeping in mind that the vast majority of people buying reps would never actually buy a gen... and that's not lost revenue for the gen manufacturers...

I've been a supporter on both sites and I can tell you they're both required IMO... huge knowledge base here... and huge active modding community there... I've bought more watches here but more parts etc on the Geek... love them both!! support both sites!!

Probably should remove bezel first... the bezel can definitely get knocked off...

It looks sooooo fake!!! The McDonalds logo is too orange... and the Gen has the corners closer to the 5 and the 7 indicies... How hard is it to get a freakin McDonalds logo right for these manufacturers??? *sigh*

I've done many searches... can't find anything. How do you remove the press fit crown tube outta these lil asian cases??

Place case in vice... wack bezel with hockey puck at 65 degree angle 25-35 times... should pop right off!! re-installation requires 2 pucks... Now I'm gonna have to take a bezel off just to try it... geeezz... thanks guys...

I believe it's "Pressed" from the inside out... remove movement, dial... press out crystal... then press out the bezel. Not hard if you have a press and have taken watches fully apart before.

I vote for adjusting the bevel edge to be less rounded... I've had a lot of Gen CGs and they vary greatly depending on the series etc. My favorites are always the ones with the lightest bevel... It makes the Crown appear thicker...

No someone else did... I'd love to know if it's from a completely different source... we'll see...

They said they'll have more crystals the middle of next month... I was explaining AR to them... they seem to maybe have some ability to request/order different specs... I dunno we'll see. I gave them a list of things to request from their sources. I might have to toftt...

Is this just a rep crystal or is it a higher quality replacement crystal? I've been emailing the seller but I don't thhink they know a whole lot about it... didn't even know what AR was they said the date mag is oem magnification... Anyone else have any insight on this? Replacement Crystal on Ebay
