can't redo the AR on ultimate crystals because they are sandwich construction... otherwise I would have long ago... DSN's new one piece 7mm cyclops crystal might change that even though the cyclops is wrong as I've successfully removed it's cyclops and have almost finished it's replacement process

that's not that uncommon... Angelus like Cortebert provided movements to other companies blank so they could put their name on the bridges... if you look at t's photobucket site he has pics of all different types of unbranded Angelus 240s...

the magnification is virtually perfect compared to Gen and the date font is perfect... only issue with all the modern gmts is they need the sunken dw fix...

the 088 in my sig is a super franken based on the ultimate 088 I bought from jushua at perfect clones (one of the "Cartel")... that's the watch I recommend... $428 last time I checked... it's worth the extra $ because the crystal is fantastic and the date wheel is perfect...

uhh seriously... the sweet and accurate 029s and 063s are loooonggg since discontinued!! DSN no longer makes any and only caries the current models that the cartel etc carries... these models are beyond repair... I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news... you'll have to keep your eye out for an old school model... which will command huge coin. Last super rep 029 sold 5 times for 1600... and an 063 that new back in the day from EL sold for 395.. stock sold for $700... you might want to consider the ultimate 088

The affect is the definitely the refraction of light through the crystal... in the Gen pics it appears the rehaut is thinner than is possible to clear the hand stack, which is obviously impossible. The thickness of the crystal and the index of refraction of the crystal are at play here... the rep crystal will not have the same index of refraction because it isn't the same type of sapphire... so the thickness has to be adjusted. I'd say try a couple different crystals... the one's they sell on ebay are very thick... just a thought.

The new style bracelet is available in 100% Ti but it's $250. TWC might be able to get it for you...

you would want a cnc engraver... maybe even laser engraving...

I would suggest you just tell them you have a rep and do they wan the business or not... save a lot of time and hastle...
