I agree... sounds like you have a 028 crystal... maybe... but if so the magnification is probably off... the 027/028 have a very deep sunken DW issue they partially corrected with the extra cyclops... I'm pretty confident that crystal has AR mainly due to the multiple cyclops' that they wanted to minimize all the reflections as the internal cyclops definitely has AR. I wouldn't strip factory AR ever... that crystal is worth more than one from an 063/029...

post a scan of your dial and I can compare with a 063 or an 029 dial I have... that'll show if they are the same.

DSN and cartel 063 and 029 dials are crap along with the case backs... you need to source the EL dials otherwise you'll be extremely dissapointed. Very hard part to come by as only someone who wanted the EL case for another build would have a left over dial... you're better off waiting for the whole watch to become avail.

bottom is gen top EL... though the EL looks a little funny to me... lug edge is always any easy tell for Gen... crisp and flat with a much sharper edge.

DSN typically gets back to me inside of 2 days max... I always use the same email thread and just hit reply so he is always reminded of how much business we've done together

I always use Vac... but The Zigmeister, and Kent have done amazing work and are very well established... Kent's work on all the different colored B&Rs blow my mind every time I see them. I wouldn't even think about using some local guy... just sounds crazy to me even if it was $30...

I like that idea because you wouldn't have to pull the hand when removing the dial and you could easily center the post with the dial off.

sounds like previous owner messed up the keyless works when removing the stem... needs to be broken down and fixed...

not the same... the chronos have the gear placed on top of the date wheel... I could do it but I don't have any chronos... it's not any easy fix... only francisco did it and has pics but you won't find anyone willing to do it for you... no kits ever made... you can have a watchsmith disable the chronos and glue them in place then sandwich another date wheel yourself to make up the difference... but then you'd lose your chronos functionality... I'd rather go that route than have the sunken date.

If you've purchased the latest version of DSN's crystal then you have the 1-piece crystal already... if you're ordering just the crystal from DSN then be sure to specify the New 1-piece crystal.

I haven't finished my testing yet... but so far it is looking good for the Ultimate crystal to achieve HauteHippie AR! The DSN is confirmed one piece and there have been several people who have sent them to HH with full success... The Ultimate Crystal is a much better crystal than even DSN's newest crystal which is why I've been testing the ultimate so thoroughly... Both crystals can have their AR removed without too much difficulty... just use regular compounds...

keep in mind the $$ is not for the faint of heart... $2400 for the case but it is 1:1

nope only the 7mm for the 7750 movement... the best bet for that watch is DSN's newest 1 piece... the mag is way better and the halo is less noticeable.

There was concern that the case sets were not Gen... he listed only the case backs as being JFu... but the entire case could easily be JFu... most likely they didn't want any rep stuff being listed and JFu is the best known...
