  1. I had a Alfa 156 many years ago. It was a great car; it had character and broke down in a loving way that only Alfa's seem to do!

Currently im driving a 2004 VW Passat. It's a work horse and does what I need it to do: no glamour but just keeps on doing it's thing. Over 250k (KM's) on the clock and still going strong. Being the estate/station wagon it really does get used. I don't know why I just love it, it's relaxing to drive, talks to me with its squeaks and rattles and seems less thirsty than I am!

I have a few cars here too, all layed up at the moment until I can find some funds to recommission them. Notably a Subaru Impreza, a VW beach (dune) buggy and a Vauxhal (Opel/GM/Chevrolet) Frontera 4x4. All great cars (IMHO!)

  2. Hang in there; both you and your dog.

I spend time in Brazil and can testify what it is like for some people to live in poor conditions. It's easy for us Europeans (and Americans) to be skeptical of people of lower income. Personally I take my hat off and salute you for what you have achieved so far in your young life.

Here in the UK there are plenty of people who sit back and let the state provide for them. There are people who have never worked a day in their life yet have a house paid for by the government (well actually the rest of the population who work!) and money for food, alcohol, clothes for their kids etc. It makes me mad when people from other nations struggle like you.

Keep going and you'll get there in the end.

  3. Whilst I'm not a fan of his music (some is it is just okay for me), I do appreciate that he had massive talent. 69 is young these days and it shows what an indiscriminate beast cancer is. Even with his money he couldn't avoid the final outcome. RIP David :(
