  1. OK, got it, thanks for the info - no other way than to move quickly now this has been posted.
  2. Generally asking: isn´t a 24hr pre-warning of this last bomb-step recommendable? PM "PP dispute authorized by Admin. Will proceed at exactly 16h00 on Thursday 15th May if funds not received by than" From reading seller and buyer may not use their PP account any more. Don´t know how in practical terms it works with "Easy to get another one with slightly different name and different CC card." Any tip welcome. Is this a new banc account with another banc with only the initial for the first name and same last name? Still a lot of hassle involved.... Really don´t know, just interested in comments. Wish You the best resolution Doc.
  3. Hi, You find better like this: http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=16_143&products_id=11697 but it´s not the best I think there is only one good rep of the Navitimer out, You have to do the research which one it is (maybe with the Asian 7753?). It´s worth researching because it´s a complicated watch with many subdials/printings etc.
  4. There is only one Navitimer for now that´s worth buying. Don´t think Watcheden has it. Research on the Navitimer and get it.
  5. That looks fine to me, very fine, can´t make out any of the points You mention. The bezelring (as the gen) has a minor play between clicks, You can push it/adjust it 1 or 2/10th of a millimetre to the left or right that´s fine, it´s like it´s meant to be. The backcase is just screwed in, if You want another alignment just tighten it or screw it out in a dust-free environment (rubber ball/ caseback-opener tool) grease the o-ring and than adjust it to Your liking, no big deal at all. Nice watch.
  6. Hi, the PAM 438 "Tuttonero" comes with a black metalband and the "Bronzo" PAM 382 is out as ZF version $500, the KW-version (imho it will probably be better in some aspects, its $30 cheaper) coming out this month pictures are from fantastic Ale´s PAM-guide and the updated link is here: http://www.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php?t=107365
  7. Beautiful. Fantastic watch and matching strap, the strap makes it:)
  8. "as with the Nautilus everyone pointed to the SW200, is there a Royal Oak equivalent?" Hi, Yes, there is the recent 41mm APRO 15400 with the Myota movement (3 screws in the center of the rotor). From the replicas it is the thinnest, the movement is said to be the best, it certainly has the best engravings on the rotor and the movement as well (not gen-like but vey nicely made). It´s got the best made logo as well. Now the bad: specifically in this best model (and expensive +- $440-470) it will be very difficult to obtain a sample with well aligned 12´markers and logo, either one or the other or both always seem slightly off. Bracelet and clasp are very well made and engraved imho. Last December I got the next best one it´s the version from BP maker with swiss ETA pictured below (thickness 11,7 mm) that normally had them well positioned, comparing both the new is worth the price difference, but be prepared to take a long time looking at qc -pictures and not even most TD´s will be happy in showing 4 or more samples.. Other versions of this Genta-design I don´t mention because imho they are way inferior. The only serious contester/ or consideration would be to get the APRO Diver V5.1 or 6 for now.
  9. Hi, from all the TD´s listed here on rwg You may pay and order at ease, this includes p-cls. As far as the FM replica, try to read about it, I just can say the quality on the cheaper models ($130-$160) is really weak and to get a good one it´s give or take $398. You will notice the difference within the overall build quality and feeling, good lume or no lume/very weak lume as well as on the movement itself. Myself I like the Casablanca Chronos a lot (and several of them) but haven´t got any yet (precisely because its $400 + shipping and the cheaper ones are no worth the while on this brand). Good choices and good purchase:)
  10. This one´s great, no ticking seconds and the chrono is a microstepper, bracelet adjustable via screws, he calls it: HUBLOT FUSION BANG SS/SS GREEN.SPECIAL VK Q.C MOV. CODE: HF041902, it´s a great watch
  11. Hi, yes that´s the legit site. Very good to deal with, good qc pics and fast shipping when it´s on the way. Only handicap 4me is the payment only via WU. KW also has the best of everything quartz around, You might want to add a cheap one to Your order.
  12. Hi, got the Tudor Blackbay from the Z factory and must say I´m very happy with everything and every detail as many others. Should it have flaws I don´t notice them and it feels and works very "gen-like". Read about some problems too like loose bezels, that mine doesn´t have:) The other thing I read was that ZF-Factory as such does not exist but its an agglomerate of individual small producers just called ZF-factory for convenience. Don´t know if that is so but it seems very believable because the spread from very best to miserable - all sold at premium prices - seems very widespread on ZF - models.
  13. Hi and welcome to rwg. The place for finding out everything about a franken rol.
  14. Hi, congrats on the AP and thanks for the review, have been waiting for one a long time and this is on my wishlist for several months now. How is the bracelet? Time-setting: read this once .. as I remember first You set the time for the second time zone (maybe it´s the other way round) it depends in which direction You turn the crown, use always the same direction one should turn all hands if you move forward the other should move only one of the hour hands if you only turn backward.
  15. Hi, it´s pretty normal up to 6 weeks and more. That´s why many members prefer to service it/have it repaired locally at own extra cost.
  16. Hi, normally I just wind them about 20 times once when starting it up, otherwise with some swirls in the evening and morning it will run fine as long as You use it, even without winding it anymore.
  17. Hi, the UK is the simplest and cheapest country in the EU to ship to from overseas so it should be fine. Supermirrors is very good but I´d recommend to go with TD´s with website that accept credit card like torobravos in the beginning. But You are finding Your ways around well already:)
  18. Hi and welcome to the forum. If You click on forums and scroll down You´ll find a Tag section with lots of information and going all the way down to accessories etc. there is a trusted dealer listing to visit later. The good Tags basically are simple to find look over $350 the more expensive the better as with everything else. And they are really good, more for looks than chrono function but You may use it one time or the other. For 1/10 th sec reliable chrono timing there is the Tag Aquaracer 300m Grande date with the Swiss Ronda Quartz, same movement and function as gen and timing up to 12 hours but You can look into those after first having the Carrera. Good searching and reading before You order anything.
  19. Congrats.... and Your wallet will regret it..... You mights as well start ordering the next 2 right now - shortens the anxiety and waiting time. That´s one tough and heavy watch You´ve got there - love it:) Good it takes some beating because it´s very easy to bang it into things.... welcome to watches
  20. Hi and welcome to the forum. Lots of information on those brands in the respective sections around. The IWC Portuguese Chrono with the seconds at six - just generally speaking - is the only one to avoid because of some movement difficulties, for all the rest there are some fantastic reps around.
  21. Hi and welcome. You must use the safe shipping option via UK (more expensive but safe). Generally the Asian 7750 may be a little bit more sensible movement and complicated to repair. If You don´t use the chrono too often, always first stop it between position 10 and 2 and only than reset it after its stopped in this position its fine. The date should also never be set between 10 and 4 o´clock only before or after. Also only buy from dealers who are trusted on this forum, they have the watch You want and at good prices. Try researching if/which models are available and what other forum members say about it using the search function. Have fun:)
  22. Hi, the first one from Trusty, Batman - GMT from BP factory is good to go, buy it to try it out. Because of shipping via UK cost I would try to order a 2nd watch from Trusty too. The Omega I think is not the right one, but I still go more for the classic Seamasters like this older model http://www.torobravos2014.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=37_128_129&product_id=466 (but with the Asian 7750 You have to read about the movement and how to use it) - try to do some more research and compare with this: http://www.torobravos2014.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=37_128_129&product_id=1011 or this http://www.torobravos2014.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=37_128_129&product_id=916 (other price-range but better watch and better movement). Toro offers via Spain shipping which is a good option. These are 2 Breitlings from Toro, if You like these I would recommend the Superocean Abyss 42mm Black/white with numbers it´s the one on the right, very good watch and movement +-$225
  23. This is a great picture of the PAM
  24. A strap ordered for the Tudor Blackbay from the US is not lost, its sitting in EU-customs (order was shipped 50 days ago, 18 March). Still waiting to get the papers, pay the tax and be done with it. As long as it doesn´t arrive the Breitling Superocean Abyss 42mm Black/white is one of the favourites.
