First row: I like each and every single one - none You could let go 2nd row: I like each and every single one - none You could let go 3rd row: You guessed it........................... - lol Nice collection, the only thing that comes to mind is what could yet be added:)

Do I have something rare? Nice to know, thought by now all came like that, not only the first ones. It´s a very good one anyway, good time keeping, good crown, good pearl - happy:) Became my most used watch. Only the bomberjacket strap ordered from overseas on the 18th past month isn´t in yet.

TC only takes 2-3 months to get; BK takes existing model and gives it a total overhaul but imho You could also just get the base model and see that things are well aligned. For BK´s price I would get a BP submariner for about 168 usd immediately and meanwhile order the classic looking TC. The Rolex 16610 classic model is much more believable as a watch than the $10.000 ceramic sub. TC shaves off all kinds of engravings and the model reproduced actually doesn´t have any, still non-knowledgeable people who read ebay will start looking for those. TC=90% gen Sub-C=60-70% gen depending on model Quality-wise/assembly-wise TC is far superior to anything else.

Instant tell, they never made an inverted datewheel either.... But it looks good! Yeah, have a friendly watchsmith over in the US, he puts that red secondhand of the Yachtmaster into the Sub. Doesn´t it look great? Why did I buy this??!?
-
The first has a misaligned pearl and misaligned, foggy Cyclops. In the second: are You sure that´s a Noob V3 bezelring? (Except the pearl) it doesn´t look like one to me on those pics, feeling no awestruck "Aah, that really looks like fatter, better, whiter than before".

Anyone see anything wrong with these QC Pics?
Nightwatch replied to Change's topic in General Discussion
It´s the rep of the new white version of the Seamaster Planet Ocean 42mm. Got to have some patience, the clocks tick different in China, not slower, different.... and misunderstandings happen anywhere. Now I´m curious to see what happens next, keep us posted.... Pic of Gen below, doesn´t have the orange-tipped seconds hand, somebody must have thought orange is nice, prefer red myself -
$459???? I´m shocked, choked, awed - is this the new way of promoting the Blancpain FF? Setting money aside for the blue ($373 shipped expected) but like that it´s getting ridiculous.

Hi, already finding Your ways around. If You are in EU You must choose the expensive via UK shipping option. Not all TD offer this and not all accept MasterCard. In my opinion for several reasons (price/accuracy/quality too) the most sensible start would be in researching the AP Diver and which of the latest models to get. Within the purchase process You will get some experience what to look for on the next purchase of the more difficult to research ones. Good luck

Hi and welcome to the forum. As all of us some reading about shipping to Your location, payment options and quality expectations will be required first until You find the right submariner. Some look like a wok, others are just fantastic and there are at least some dozens of choices. Have some fun and research on the model You are interested in. In some 4-5 weeks You will have it.

Hi and welcome to the forum. As all of us some reading about shipping to Your location, payment options and quality expectations will be required first until You find an AP Royal Oak 15400, AP Diver or one of the more complicated/expensive and less reliable Chronos. The looks are just fantastic. Have some fun and research on the model You are interested in.

Hi, usually do it myself and pay 31% of which 23% VAT on item including shipping cost, but I´m not UK. Biggest trouble I had was once getting an electronic compliance certificate to EU norms for an electronics device from the US (nothing to do with the taxes themselves). Good luck. If the value is up to 22 euro You don´t pay as a private.

Hi I am new. Have a replica coming tomorrow
Nightwatch replied to IHaveSeenTheLight's topic in Introduction/Rules/Support
Hi, no problem in winding the 2813, just don´t do it too fast, 20-22 turns is fine. If the date is 12 hrs back just advance it manually 12 hrs. in the time setting position. -
The blue rep with silvery hands has been confirmed, will be released together with the V2 of the red. Just hoping they get that vintage blue right. Additional rep-version (even ahead of gen) will have the black bezel. The red is one of my alltime favourite watches, rep or gen, very easy to wear anywhere without the Rolex-stigma (love my Rolexes as well, but just for the right occasion and place).

Nightwatch replied to IHaveSeenTheLight's topic in Introduction/Rules/Support
Hi and welcome to rwg. Normally the Sub only needs some grease on the gasket of the screw-in crown and the one of the backcase. Before sending it anywhere just wp - test it locally. Biggest tell nowadays imho is when it´s brand new, fresh out the box, the rep looks much more genuine when the first scratches are on. As for taking it off when swimming You´d be surprised how many gen-owners don´t want to risk breaking a 10.000 usd watch, who don´t want to service the seals at high cost yearly or who just treat the watch very carefully thinking of the potential resale value, never even taking it to the pool or beach when they can take a Seiko or a Casio etc. Enjoy Yours, the BP´s are nice. -
Patek - Is there actually a gen version of this?
Nightwatch replied to BadSamaritan's topic in Other Brands Area
Hi and welcome. On the picture this does look really nice. If You like the design maybe just get. Nobody will know what watch it is anyway or if it exists. To pull off a complicated $128 rep as a gen is next to impossible. Normally the most 1:1 looking only have an hour, minute and seconds hand, if it has a date it already gets more complicated. I would just check if the functions work or are "faux" on the TD website. The best replicated Patek is the $500 + Patek Nautilus, next the Aquanaut, haven´t read anything about the Calatrava. -
PAM 382 Bronzo released... comments welcome :-)
Nightwatch replied to swdivad's topic in The Panerai Area
Congrats on that Bronzo, its a big, beautiful watch and one I´d wish to have. Also one I will have to pass: Rep too expensive Gen much too expensive Quality/assembly risk Let´s see how the patina comes out on this one:) -
Looks fantastic with the silvery lumed dial at 9. And it´s a GMT with date-function. Congrats, time to get some nice leatherstraps for it. Than there is the lume tonight:)
-
Congrats, what a nice timeframe to be around already. Happy next seven!

Once it hits EU - ground its forwarded on foot, with paddleboats or even with snailpost. Don´t worry. Interesting to see that distribution may take it´s time also within the UK. Last time waited for 27 days after it hit EU-soil, than it arrived. Simple strap-order from the US on 18.03. isn´t here either 15.04., so relax. Procedure with letters/ or taxing also is same as in rest of EU, tax in UK still is with a better rate (here pay 31%). Just the follow-up is harsher in some (few) countries than in the UK.
