This was interesting to learn about. In addition have read that Panerai watches often have blue screws that result from a heating process. Rep. screws are sometimes just painted blue.

My vote goes for Andrews 16600 Seadweller as well, here it is side by side with Tc´s Caddell Rouge

That Seadweller from TT is a very fine watch, love mine. The bracelet is actually quite good and solid after the oilbath some months ago. Maybe just got used to it.

That is really good.

Some People asked to see flying of the F 16 fighter jet
Nightwatch replied to Ezio's topic in General Discussion
Awesome, fascinating - and what a wonderful feel it must be to be in control of such a machine. Thx for sharing, loved this:) a lot... -
Don´t buy from that site, they are probably scammers. Here - found this today and remembered Your post - this is 39mm Omega Speedmaster Co-Axial Chronograph with the Asian 7750 movement for chromos and I don´t know nothing about it yet but looks good/ has date (closed caseback) and will put this on my checklist for future research. Think this is what You´re looking for (from TD with shipping via uk to G): http://pureti.me/product/speedmaster-racing-39mm-ss-black-dial-with-black-sub-dials-on-ss-bracelet-a7750/

It´s a very classic pocketwatch with the numbers and seconds at six. Nice - and definitely exclusive/different Omega You have there. Wear it well.

Hi, never saw this Breitling model... placement and spacing of the subdials looks wrong. Crown looks wrong. Dial looks wrong. Caseback looks like from a rep GMT but this isn´t...
-
Are there any faults in these (any help.would be appreciated)
Nightwatch replied to dr_rolex's topic in The Rolex Area
Hi, can´t really say if the TC will fit, probably You will have to try out. You may always use it on another Rolex later or just resell it on the forum without loosing money if it stays unused. Another high quality fun choice really are sailcloth (or other) Bradystraps they have a fantastic tool-free release system with inbuilt lugs for all different sizes and have a very good price/quality/looks relationship at 35 USD + shipping: http://bradystraps.com/shopping/pgm-more_information.php?id=33&=SID I would buy sailcloth with orange stitching for that watch or as said croc from them. Look like this on my Seiko FFF: -
Hi and welcome, to cut a long story very short, from all I´ve read the 358 USD version is out of stock and will be. Why should anyone spend 448,- + shipping on a decorated movement that won´t fool anybody and that sooner or later will break (it´s unreliable)? If these amounts are in play it has to be a BK or a TC. In my honest opinion buy a good, nice, best dial BP sub 16610 or 116600 for around 268 usd (or the simplest from 158,- to try it out, same looks) and afterwards go from there (either happy as I am or upgrade later/additionally with another version) Good luck

and forgot to add: read about shipping is important, select via UK shipping for EU and never more than 2 watches at a time.

Hi and welcome to the Forum. Best is to read first about every IWC here on the forum before running to buy it. Have fun around.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Both the AP Royal Oak 15400 most expensive edition with sellita movement or the AP Diver V5 or V5.1 are good choices.
-
Hi, You can buy the Diver V5 or check the V5.1. just released newer version, both are good from Trusty Time, Torobravos or one of the other trusted dealers on this forum. Good luck with Your purchase.

Hi, Yes and yes but whatsoever slightly. Would You really reject specifically this watch and risk getting a worse one? The OP has just 6 posts and prob. 1st watch. I wouldn´t take the risk and accept it, because the next will have a different and worse flaw, than the TD tells to go buy a gen and sends the money back - no watch at all, nothing lost but time that's true. Just interested in knowing how You proceed. Thanks -
where I can buy quality breitling avenger skyland blacksteel?
Nightwatch replied to lenee's topic in The Breitling Area
Hi and welcome, understand how difficult/uncertain it sometimes is to buy without a direct link: http://www.torobravos2014.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=25_32 Like to buy there too:) -
Hi and welcome, what´s popular You best see in the daily wristshot sections. For the time-frame - if You are in EU - it takes a really big "lot of some time".... First waited for CNY to finish to place an order, ordered from Toro on the 13th and qced 15th Feb. than by plane or ship to EU relatively fast. Once it´s in EU first they still use paddleboats and rudderboats which is fine, than it goes on by foot and all the rest of the way to the south by snail-mail, so even today 11th it wasn´t here yet, really should pack up my things and go living in the UK:) but than there´s the weather-thingy. As for popular, it´s the popular Tudor Blackbay (finally) and a Breitling Abyss (white-black) 42mm I´m waiting for.

Nightwatch did you have that relumed it looks awesome Hi, not relumed, glows like a torch superlume from factory:)) To the op Poleino: You might want to take a look at the PAM 372 and PAM 388, considered very good to super, if U like them - use the search function.
-
Hi, I have a beautiful 1950´s case PAM212 Flyback which is not considered a super-rep because of the wrong caseback and only chrono, no flyback-function. From the front though it looks beautiful, even fantastic and it´s a perfect watch itself because it´s good in all situations: dress/dinner/sports/weekend and not too big with 44mm. From what I´ve learned You have to quite limit Yourself to a very basic watch without any additional functions, best is only hour and minutes, maybe even seconds and a closed caseback to have "the best" 1:1 to gen PAM, exceptions allowed. This is fine if You like an austere watch with a simple/clean dial but I would really say to go with one of the good ones of the model/ functions You do like. (in my case the 253 is considered better). There is a fantastic PAM- Guide out there, buy You´ll be reading for days if not for weeks. Good luck choosing. When using the search function upper right corner be sure to click on "This Topic" and change it to forums or You will find nothing. These are the looks, PAM212 just to give an idea:

Looks like Omegas are having their spring-day, good ole´ Seamaster´s getting vintage, don´t want anything else 21 fathoms below....
-
Hi, that bracelet is also removed by pushing a center pin in the middle on the back? Asking for the IWC Cousteau - which side does the pin come out or does it matter? Maybe You can please describe it a bit because till now I didn´t want to use force (and the rubbers strap is new, just would like to try it out on something else).
