The simple approach imho is to shoot for the 16600 series as they are all better made than the new ceramic subs. Same for the Datejust. If it´s a Seadweller there is one Cyclops less to worry about. That means for around 200 USD You already get 90% of the looks. Every 1/2 percent better than costs between 100 and 200 USD more. Obviously if You worry the hands being too near the dial (which they are) TC is the way to go but if You are this perfectionist You also need to have acquired the skills to improve it Yourself so You may create Your own and unique money pit:) a wonderful one by the way...
Dagaz had no dials in stock and picked up all pieces from Yobokies http://forums.watchuseek.com/f30/fs-custom-fff-modding-parts-new-lumed-glass-bezel-inserts-available-784063.html, think he still has the silver ones. The watch simply looks great in person:) was well worth the while.
Big help for All would be to have updated links in the TD section.
Never bought from perfect clones or puretime either because there are too many scam sites not detectable for noobs
P:S:: - and would have landed on the fake site too some months ago
Hi, I am no expert on this, but there´s something which doesn´t feel right. Would not buy it at that price. There are better auto - Tags out there.
If You don´t mind swiss quartz the Aquaracer Grande Date in white or black is a fantastic gen-like watch with working 1/10 second function and subdial (it´s 239 usd).
What bad luck on the very first day. Luckily it´s very easy to fix and there are tutorials around. Just have to get the replacement and open the caseback. Wish You fast resolution of this. So ok the Tudor is like all others there are good ones and bad ones despite the high price-tag.
Hi, You are just referring to different types of bracelets. You may purchase another and fit it to Your GMT if you want (as long as it´s the same size). Or You can get A NATO - this is from Paul Hewitt, costs just 10 euros.
no daylight pic, but You get the idea
