  1. Agree with everything said and have never complained about a 128 or 248 usd faulty rep BUT as prices are getting out of hand for simple Asian ETA movements (318/368 usd over 400 with shipping) more criticism and the need/claim for more quality assembly has to be allowed for. Just my take: When You get to the 330 usd to 400 usd range just look/compare what Samsung and Acer are offering for quality, completely operational and well assembled notebooks. Well-packaged, instruction manual, extras. The screens don´t flicker, no buttons are coming off, nothing is loose and if it should be faulty (first 14 days) You get it immediately exchanged for a brand new one. Still they go for just 330 USD and work for years.
  2. Hi, only insight is it´s said to be above 500, so very expensive. Bought a Seiko SNZH57 instead and modding parts:)
  3. Nice read, didn´t know that one yet. Thx
  4. Hi Ocram, thanks for that tip. Will buy from them sometime.
  5. I do love this one: Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph Racing Grey Titanium Ref : 521.NX.7070.LR Best SS bracelet ever - its large so it sits on place screw adjustable - no seconds unless You use the chrono - no lume - it´s quartz with microstepper main seconds hand
  6. Have been looking. Top references I found for somewhat sensible prices are these: http://www.strapcode.com/store/breitling-c-190.html?infoBox=5 http://bradystraps.com/Colored_Sailcloth.php glad if You have some others
  7. Quite like the Solar Chrono for it´s red tipped second hand and the alarm function-fun/use. Just got my second classic Seiko too:) the SNZH57 ready to go for Yobokies FFF mod:) Thx Mike, You put me on to this....
  8. The blue Tudor Heritage Chrono is on my list when I need another Gen. For now the Blackbay rep is finally on its way:) Curious to see how that goes with me, loved it since first seen although I like the date-function on watches. Importr - if You have both, how do they compare, please?
  9. Hi, did You check with Toro? Sure somebody will have it.
  10. Congrats, great choice of watches. Are the numbers on that AP also lumed? Sure looks fantastic, the Rolex GMT anyway.
  11. Using the Explorer 16570 a lot since it´s on the strap instead of the (weak) bracelet
  12. It´s the cerachrome with ice blue dial platinum 50th anniversary at a ridiculous pricetag of usd 75.000 as a gen. Gives You about 12 used Daytonas:) Even if you´ve just made 7.5 Mio it´s still 1% of You fortune. No way to spend this on a new Rolex, even less to use it as a daily beater, no way to pull it off. It´s still beautiful:)
  13. Hi Jack, hope You can sort that out. Took a look at mine and it sits flush and tight, no gap or play at all like on those pics. Suggest to e-mail pictures to TC and ask him how to do/fix. It looks as if it is not pushed in enough, have read some people do it by hand but others need some kind of press to have it click in. Think dbane is right. Good luck.
  14. Welcome to the forum. Have fun reading and choosing around. Great city You live in.
  15. Very good choice. Next could be an AP Diver, Breitling Superocean, Omega or PAM Submersible/GMT or Bronzo.
  16. Really like it, thanks , will take a look if they have something for the 42mm SO Abyss.
  17. Hi and welcome. Make it 2 days for Your banc to prepare the money to be sent, 3 to 5 days because it is really a long way to China and partly they go on foot and another 2-3 days for the Chinese banc to receive it, more if it´s a local branch (all working days). WU is a better way, at least faster if available. Paid 11,25 euro exchange rate cost and 20 euro WU fees, about 13% on top once (287 eur instead of 255). PP also do charge a lot if You use their conversion option instead of Your bancs. Please post Your experience when it´s done, including if possible what You we´re charged in transfer and exchange cost because that would be interesting to know.
  18. Nice watch. You will need a watch repair tool kit from amazon (cheapest way is to get a kit 10-20 usd. to remove the pins and adjust the bracelet, get it now. Between the links there is a very small tube just 1-2 mm which You need, very careful not to loose it when adjusting bracelet. Have fun
  19. Hi and welcome to the forum. Normally it should take 2 to 4 days but can also be 10 days up to 3 weeks. Which watch did You order from which TD? If the rep is a very wanted or very rare model may take a long time.
  20. Actually in quartz there are 2 well working versions from Kuvarsit, no TD here but good guy to deal with from the other rwg. These Omegas certainly are not the worst, some people are using them for quite some time, just saying, haven´t got one. Seems on the 2-dial the Chrono main hand sweeps. These are 128 and 138 usd, would like 2 get the 2 dialled one but it´s got the chequered dial and too much 007 on it, the one below got that typical quartz placement of the subdials which puts me off.
  21. Hi again, You could try to change Your order to get one DSSD (great watch) and a 16600 Seadweller or Sub, other option would be the Noob Explorer II in black or white, whatever is in stock. Would also really recommend to get the AP Diver V5 or V5.1. if already available in SS, it not only looks good it´s a quality watch with the Asian movement (at least mine is).
  22. Just re-read the posts here and there are high quality reps too. If You need precision of time, shockproof movement and gen-like feeling this is one for You I can highly recommend in white or black. It´s got the same Swiss Ronda Quartz movement as the gen too with same functions of 1/10 seconds accuracy and 12 hours stop-timing. No problem pulling it off either. Looks gen and feels gen - just fine. Just posted this in another thread so it was available:)
  23. Thanks for protecting the free World and welcome to the forum. There are some very nice Quartz choices around, this here is a fine beater and fully operational/ well lumed:
