Mumbai was under siege from the so-called fidayeen terrorists for the last 2.5 days. Almost 250+ dead and 400+ injured. Over 20+ terrorists entered Mumbai via inflatable rafts and since then it was hell for around 60 hours. The mother ship from which they were launched ....caught off the waters of India....captain be-headed. Found GPS trackers and SAT phones on board.....apparently...the terrorists came from Karachi. That's a lot of money..... Any idea how much the swiss eta 7750 movement available for? Maybe I can get the watch and have a watchsmith change the movement. Any idea if the eta 7750 movement will fit into the watch without any mods? The movement on the Skylands is the bane of these watches....else they rock. Cheers

@bertieng....thanks a lot. Is this something any watchsmith can do easily and are the stems readily available?

I have a Patek Nautilus MBK that I got from TTK some time back. The crown on the watch has come off...and as per the watchsmith...the crown has broken off the stem and a complete new stem is required. What are the options I have.....where can I get a stem for the swiss eta movement with PP crown attached (is the crown a part of the stem or is just glued on to it? Thanks for any help you can provide. Cheers

Welcome mate....you joined the forum a few hours back.....not sure how much reading you have been doing. Suggest you spend some time reading all the info available....there is lots of it. You can buy a base AP ROO sec @ 12 and then mod / franken it as you go along. Cheers

Very nice watch and nice pics too. I wanted to order the deepsea but was told by a reputed dealer here to wait for the next version....which is supposedly coming soon....and with most of the glaring flaws fixed (and new ones added)

Scary....I just sent my Big Pilot back to Josh in GZ. The watch came with a chipped minute marker and the movement was almost dead....the watch would stop afte 15-30 seconds.....tried everything but to no avail. Had the watch with me for a total of 1 hour

I don't think there should be any issue with wearing a rep when crossing Immigration....as long as you don't have rdx/semtex/c4 hidden in it I have traveled a few times thru JFK and Newark without any issues.

The Academia is not flashy in person....subtle flashiness The build quality is absolutely excellent I have had mine for a few months now and have probably worn it once or twice. Sitting pretty in my watch box .... might just think of selling it to make some space
