  2. Jamie you need to understand that is far from a done deal yet, first you need to make a formal request to Thomas and until you are registered here you can not sell openly without retribution. Ken
  3. No this is not on, I suggest to stop this practise a negative member review in both cases could be in order. If a seller accepts your offer and then accepts payment they have no right to bail out for more money or any other reason. Ken

  11. And a few more musings... Gardening Rule: When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway. There are two kinds of pedestrians: the quick and the dead. Life is sexually transmitted. An unbreakable toy is useful for breaking other toys. If quitters never win, and winners never quit, then who is the fool who said, "Quit while you're ahead?" Health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die. The only difference between a rut and a grave is the depth. Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day; teach that person to use the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks. Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs. Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing. Have you noticed since everyone has a camcorder these days no one talks about seeing UFOs like they used to? All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism. Why does a slight tax increase cost you two hundred dollars and a substantial tax cut saves you thirty cents? In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal. Politics is supposed to be the second oldest profession. I have come to realize that it bears a very close resemblance to the first. How is it one careless match can start a forest fire, but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?
  12. Gunnar this is the winter theme, the Christmas theme is still to come. Ken
  13. Welcome to RWG Beano And yes I understand your problem quite well I like to call it the wife to watch ratio, my wife to watch ratio was 12 to 1 and if she ever finds out that I now have 16 watches I'm in big trouble buddy Ken
  14. Hey Quarks you out there buddy? Ken
  15. to be more correct John even with a full strength and fit Pommy team they were never going to win on our home grounds, the Aussie's were always going to come back strong after losing over there because we are a far better team and we...............err what was that you were saying about arrogance? Ken
  16. Of course being from the land downunder Thanksgiving is not celebrated here but to you Mike and indeed all my American friends I wish you good and wonderful things for this festive season. Ken

  18. I have always found that keepers are the first thing to go, so I keep my second one on as a kind of reserve for when the first one becomes to shabby or breaks. Ken
  19. Actually if what Omni say's about the pricing is correct that would be a great watch for the price. Ken
  20. No prob we get Quarks to name his dates and we will go from there. One thing though is the cigar bar jammed packed like the rest of the crown bars? If so we wont have much room for spreading out our collections. Ken
  21. http://www.bonhamsandgoodman.com.au/auctio....php?auction=88 Ken
