Ok this is a guess, but I would assume if you wiped a very little bit of silicon over the opening of the two hands they would then fit snug when pushed back on................but I would still take it to a watchmaker Ken

Most rep pens are of good quality but the majority will not take a gen refill, the fix is to either ream them out a little with a small drill bit or to use refills that fit (and work) in the pen, someone once stated that certain Parker refills worked. Alternatively new accessory dealer sash5 claims to have rep pens that do take the gen refills Ken
