here? but anyway I think that there has to be a diverce in reps. Imagine if only omegas, rolexes, panerais and a couple of iwc are top sellers and manufacturers would stop producing other ones. Dont you think that most ppl would quit dealing wheras they would not have a right to choose besides the choice would be obvious (rolex, pams and omegas)? I mean when I come to a clothes store I like to check many items while I wont to get a one particular. If there was only one item and everybody would be able to buy it would I too? i read today on one of polish watch forums, that when customs confiscate a replica item, they contact the manufacturer and the manufacturer decide whever they remove the bands label and give the labeless item to charity or to destroy the replica and give some labeled gen items to charity as well. Imo thats the stupidy, so if our reps gets to custom gen producers gieve gen watches to charities? Imposible

my idea was in general due to ppl that could buy one gen instead of 10+ reps but they simply dont do that as they dont really care about the gen manufacturer. Ppl that cant afford gen, wont buy one ever so they simply do not couse manufacturers to lose a customer against the rep dealers

I just read recenlty a Polish website dedicated to gen watches of all brands and some polish freaks have just lunched an action so called "spot the fake" in order to spot fakes, take them from their owners and smash them with big barrel during the july meeting. And that got me onto a clue... Do you really feel that buying reps is stealing money from gen brands? I mean, I cant personally afford a gen Panerai, dunno if I would in years so it means that I wouldnt buy any gen Pam evetually. So am I really stealing gen manufacturers money? Please, discuss

if its older version like G it wont have a gorgous sandwich dial, we all love so much on our pams, but still will be good, also the movement decorations would be different, as engraved instead of cote de geneve waves. No further major differences for me then Swan neck is more just to be, and able to be spotted, than to do anything at all Its just a gadget that makes rep closer to the gen, although we all know that the neck needle is way thiner on rep than on gen Anyway remember its titanium pam, so its a bit lighter than those heavy steel pams. Most of pams are steel cased, so you might not feel the actuall weight of pam But after all, I advice you to get 177h with swan neck, as its the closest around for now cheers, Kuba
