Hi there, I see a few options for you. Buy some watches and contribute some posts to build up your profile so folks will be more likely to deal with you and get the DD down the road after you have established yourself. If you are set on a franken Day Date, search all the rep forums sales areas frequently looking for a member to member sale of a mymanmatt build or similar. They do come up from time to time. I sold one a few months ago. Just for reference nice DD builds are generally 1K+. Although you may run into the same problem M2M with folks being leary because you are new. Try and connect with some of the senior members here and get one of them to vouch for you. One of the issues you are running into is that people have filed Pay Pal disputes against members and kept the watch and the money, so many of us are less likely to deal with people we do not know or have not dealt with in the past.

Gen should fit. I took a dremel to my TC bracelet and softened it up. Especially the clasp. There are some threads about treading bracelets here. The clasp I sanded down quite a bit and then brushed and polished it. Feels and works much better. Sent from my droptop using telepathy [emoji466]️

You see them on VRM and other places but generally prices are high. I found mine over on RWI. There are a couple of guys over there who have lots of parts and are more reasonably priced. Thanks guys. Yes she needs a bath. Just unpacked it and took a couple of quick pics before heading out for work. Highly recommend Michael Young "Classic Watch Parts". Great work and service and actually the turn around time was pretty quick. Price was very reasonable. Wife and I leave for a work trip/vacation on Thursday morning. First leg is a "leadership conference" for work at a swanky resort in the San Diego area. Best work trip of the year. Basically get paid to play golf, use the spa and eat at nice restaurants. Then we head over to Palm Springs on the 19th and will stay there 7-10 days at our timeshare condo. Looking forward to some time off. So hopefully by the time I get back, this baby will be ready for some wrist time. Hard to believe this watch is near completion. Been a really enjoyable process. I learned a lot and made some really great connections with people along the way which is the best part. Thank you for tolerating all the posts......
