  5. Thanks for that. You're right. It was a long time ago and just curious to see how it stands up against a TC , BW, WM9 etc... Do you think gem parts would fit on this bad boy? Any way of checking apart from ordering then crying when they don't fit ??? DK Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Thanks boys. I appreciate the feed back. With the other non Rolex models I want, I'm a little more relaxed and I'll definitely go look at the TD's. I think just for the subs and the day dates, though I would ideally love to get some good Frankens built. Guess I'll have to take your advice and find some in the M2M section eventually. I put up some pics in the Rolex thread of my Deepsea, yesterday. Could you guys check out the quality and give me your .02? You're all more experienced than I am and I would love some fees back! Thanks again gents! DK Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Hey guys, Bought this about 3-4 years ago before I joined the forums. Just trying to see how on point it is compared to what's out there with the TD's. It was advertised as a high quality Swiss replica on the website. This was a Melbourne based company and I have tried searching for them to link to their website for you but it looks like they got shut down. I don't have a good camera so I used an olloclip macro on my iPhone 5s. Apart from the lousy engraving on the bracelet, how does it fare In your eyes? The glass and the lume on the hour hand looks a little messed up? u Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks mate! Keep em coming! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Anyone else please feel free to chip in. All suggestions are welcome and appreciated. Dk
  10. Thanks Gary! Have you got a link? I tried to click on some stuff a couple days ago and it said I had to upgrade I think ? DK Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Hi Guys, I joined these forums a couple of days ago and I've had a lot of insightful and very helpful members on here take the time to explain things to me and help me on my travels. Mike on a bike and TC, thanks for all your help so far. Im new to these forums and gradually finding my way around the place is getting a little easier each day but now it's time to haul ass and get something built. I've decided that the first piece i would love to have is the LV sub. I know that TC does amazing work but unfortunately as we all know, this model has ceased production until supplier issues are sorted out. I would love to commission someone to build me a piece at the same quality that TC builds (if at all possible) but as yet, I have not found the cheese at the end of the maze. So I put this out there to any any and all builders, modders and anything in between: Is there anyone here that can build me something as good as TC's LV sub or am I going to have to commission someone to build me a Franken LV sub? Ubiquitous has the most amazing Franken LV sub i've seen on here and I figure getting one built with all the gen parts like he did is probably the best option at this point. Thatst type of piece I am after, quality wise. Who can help me on here or point me in the right direction with a Franken solution or something similar. Once I start collecting, the other Rolex's I would want would also have to be of this high quality too. So I will definitely be coming back for more if you help me out on this first purchase with the LV sub. Is this possible? If so, I would encourage and appreciate any and all members to chime in and give me your .02 Anyone looking to sell (including you too Ubiquitous!!!) Please feel free to PM me too. Thanks for your help gentlemen! DK
  12. Hi Ubi, This is an amazing build. Looks absolutely beautiful! Im new to these forums and gradually finding my way around the place but this is definitely the first watch i would love to build. Forgive my lack of knowledge, but do you offer your mod services? I would love to commission you to build me a franken just like this piece. Is this possible? If so just reply here or PM me. Thanks for your help! DK
  13. Amazing job !!! How lush is that dial dude!!! DK
  14. Dammit! I wanted to believe that these guys were straight up and that they were offering some craaaazy quality but I guess i was wrong. Thanks for saving me from throwing some cash away needlessly. So i've decided that the first piece i want is the Rolex 50th anniversary Sub (black dial, green bezel). What do i do now? should i just go look under the rolex specific threads for the best dealer? Or can you guys recommend an easier way to navigate to what i want. I know it will never be the same as genuine, but I want something that i dont have to modify myself. I want the best movement and the best materials possible so its looks as bang on as possible. TC's subs look good, anyone else??? DK
  15. Thanks TB. The casing, the movement and the details look to be immaculate on these sites so as of yet, I haven't seen any reason not to consider them for a purchase. What do you think about their water resistance claims? Check out their testing process on their site : http://www.solidswiss.cd/ If anyone else has some helpful input to steer me in the right direction, that would be great too. Feel free to chime in. Also, do you make hulks too TB?
  16. Hi Guys, New member and first post here so while i did look through the scammer site list you were kind enough to provide, I didn't see a few of these sites that are in question. I was hoping you could provide some insight as to the quality of these swiss replica sites: http://www.swissreplica.cd/ http://www.solidswiss.cd/ and to a lesser extent, this site: http://www.perfectwatches.cn/ I am only starting to learn the difference in shitty replica companies and seemingly higher end sites like these. To someone like myself it just seems that the quality on these 2 sites is higher in terms of the movement being cloned and the quality of the steel in the housing and the bracelet. The serials and engravings all look on point too but when I see that they are asking for $1200-1500 for their watches when other sites are asking for $400- 800, I just want to see what your opinions are and if these hefty prices are justifiable. Also in the case of solid swiss, they repeatedly claim that because of their seals and o-rings, that you can swim with the pieces with piece of mind. Is this true or a crock? I would love and appreciate as much insight and feed back as possible from any and all of you. Ideally my goal is to have something which is as accurate and on point to the original as possible and these sites look like they are it. My first 3 watches im looking to buy are the best possible versions of the following: -Rolex submariner 50 year anniversary -Omega Sea master (orange crown) -Breitling Super ocean Heritage 46 -Breitling chronomat evolution Are these sites producing pieces as good as they say they are and are the prices justifiable in the case of the first two? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys! DK
