i have had very good ones and very poor ones. just depends on the batch, not wether it is for tang or for deployment. this has been my experience anyway.
amazing pictures lanikal. i have committed to angus that when the breitling blacksteel v2 comes out, i'll buy that and this iwc v1 from him. but [censored] me ... i can't stop coming back to look at these pictures. this is going to be a long month!
p.s. here are a couple of pictures i just came across, showing the genuine with the fish crown. this version is highly sought after now due to it's rarity.
all of us here can see how easily this could happen. the bottom line is that it is going to be awkward from now on unless you come clean. like fxrandy said, just tell him you were embarrased to tell him but now feel even worse for leading on it was a gen. if he mentioned reps and has been out of the game for a while, he is going to love your skyland. good luck!
hi andrew and welcome! i've got a few really nice watches for sale in canada, so no issues with customs etc. have a look at this this link and let me know if anything catches your eye. all the best.
met too, i'm excited about this one! hopefully this will be another repping (stepping) stone to the genuine ... that's the plan anyway. here's a genuine high quality image link for all the blacksteel fans. all the best.
i tried on a genuine skyland avenger today at my local ad. they had a few but the only one on a bracelet was the slate dial. it felt amazing on the wrist (good size, weight, etc.). the dealer told me that they actually sell the head and bracelet or straps separately. the price was $3,750 for the slate dial with bracelet. anyway, just wanted to share my short story of the day. fyi, i can't get this [censored] watch out of my head.
cool! that's the first one i've seen on rwg. i bet it would look cool with the rubber strap, although i'm not sure where you'd get the proper buckle though? all the best.
yup ... twice so far. first was the panerai 091 and secondly was the omega planet ocean. it's always nice to test drive the rep but trust me when i say, there's no better feeling than the real thing. my sights are now on the breitling skyland avenger. the limited edition blacksteel will be mine by the end of the year ... i can feel it. here are some picture of the evolution so far ...

i have to disagree with you here, i loved in bruges. i am not a colin farrell fan but he was hilarious in this! the movie has beautiful scenery, a good story and is both funny and gruesome at the same time. i bought the dvd and have been passing it around to my friends. in your defence doc i have had mixed reviews from them. lol. either way ... i really enjoyed it and highly recommend it! i also recommend before the devil knows you're dead which i finally got around to seeing the other night. all the best.
not really an accident but i took a few teammates golfing one day in las vegas and one of the guys wanted to leave his watch in my truck. i told him to put it in the glove box. it was an oris worth a couple thousand dollars. anyway, we finished or day of golf to find that my truck had been broken into and the watch stolen. to this day, i still feel really bad.
jesus The Zigmeister, that looks bad. i had a similar injury from hockey a few years ago ... except it was from a fist, not eyeglasses. lol. our team doctor had me wear a patch for the first couple of days. i forget the exact reasoning but you could mention this to your doctor as a second opinion. the good news is that the recovery will be a lot faster than you think. on a side note, i am trying to gain a referral to you through a few members so please be expecting e-mails on my behalf. when you're back in business please drop me a line ... i've got a genuine rolex project for you! take care and all the best.
