i'm not sure if you are talking about the watch or the bracelet? the 091 has never been repped but the sister model 165 (in brushed and polished steel) has and is still available. as far as the titanium and steel bracelets ... they are hard to find but still pop up from time to time. last year i couldn't find one so i bought an all brushed steel bracelet and a titanium and polished steel bracelet. i took them both apart to make a titanium and brushed steel bracelet and a regular polished and brushed steel bracelet. i have since sold both but the titanium one was amazing!

lol, i missed that in your original post. as far as the poker game goes ... bring the noise! another little tidbit of information is that both panerai's in the movie were purchased right here in the bahamas. i just found this out from my buddy at the local ad about two weeks ago. here are a few stills from the film ...

ballsy post for a newbie. fyi, i purchased a genuine panerai after owning a rep ... and i know many other that have done the same.

nice job joe and nice watch. i love that version with the power reserve centered over the six ... looks much better than off to the right in my opinion! all the best.

jay's site can be seen here. i have to disagree with some of these critiques. the pearl ... although not recessed, looks good. date font, dial number size, the position of the "co-axial chronometer" font and the numbers in the bezel are very close to the real thing. i will give you the positioning of the "he" valve and the reason the crown might look off is simply because it is in the pulled out position for these pictures. the lume on the markers is still not as strong as the hands but it is significantly better than the other one i have.

as some of you may or may not have read in my previous post, i ordered this watch from jay because he said he had the logo corrected. long story short, he sent the old version ... but after a few e-mails he corrected the problem and this arrived yesterday! i am very happy as i'm sure some of you will be to see the correct logo on this beautiful watch. i am mainly a panerai man but can see this getting lots of wrist time in the future. i am still learning about this rep and from what i can tell, this version is pretty good. the hour markers at 3, 6, 9 and 12:00 are slightly smaller in comparison to the gen and the "he" valve seems to be about 1 or 2mm lower than other models. here are a few pictures i just took while enjoying a day off for bahamian independence. thanks and i look forward to hearing some of your comments!

well it is time to name the dealer as he came through on his word! the dealer was jay and the replacement watch literally just arrived. it looks great and has the correct logo! i am at work right now but will try to post some pictures a.s.a.p. it took exactly one month from the day i made payment for the correct watch to be in my hands, but it was well worth the wait. i made payment on june 9th and received the first watch on june 21st. it was then back and forth with a few e-mails and today the problem was rectified. this is going to be interesting for those of you with the ultimate planet ocean as this may be the ultimate now? please stay tuned for a post with pictures and lastly, a big thanks to jay ... even though there was a small problem, he clearly went out of his way to make it right.

@ teejay, obviously reps evolve so i think it's only natural to expect and look forward to new changes and corrections. all the best.
