  1. on my home computer i get booted any time i try to reply. my work computer is fine. not sure what the problem is. if you find out, please let me know. very frustrating.
  2. amazing pictures ... not so amazing watch. but i will say this, i too bought my first pam rep on canal street. i now have many good reps as well as a genuine 091. you will definitely be adding to your collections soon and i look forward to seeing more of your pictures! all the best.
  3. last week my wife wanted to go downtown to do some shopping. i hadn't been into my local ad since they've remodeled, so i decided to tag along. for anyone visiting nassau, you'll be pleasantly surprised with their new panerai section. up until now panerai was displayed in a case with other watches and was very easy to overlook. they now have their own place on the wall and it's great to see. on display there was an 048, two 140's, a 184, 190, 210 and a couple of ferrari models (they had 5 but sold 3 in the last couple of days). the 210 is not shown as it was on my wrist. i think this will be my next genuine panerai ... i am looking for a dressier watch than my 091 and just love the simplicity of the 210. i wanted to post this as i know a few of you travel here frequently. after i saw this, i instantly wondered what they might have left over from the old display case. i must have mentioned it to my wife because without me knowing, she contacted my buddy at the ad and asked if there was anything lying around. well the other night she came home with a surprise for me. i could tell by the look on her face that it was something i was going to enjoy. sure enough they had an extra panerai submarine (pig) display that they were not using and offered it to me. big points for my wife and my local ad! it's a nice addition to my collection of panerai goodies. all the best!
  4. a belated welcome. now, dust off your wallet.
  5. looks good and fyi, brown gators go great with titanium! looking forward to seeing what mods you do. maybe a new datewheel? keep us posted.
  6. how about an oem calf strap? i have both a black and brown one for sale. they are both regular length (115 x 75, 24 x 22) in 99% condition, never worn only tried on. i will sell them for $100.00 each shipping included. both will come with an aftermarket polished ss buckle. pm me if you are interested. thanks.
  7. here is an aftermath of my bar from st. patrick's day ... lol, it was a good one!
  8. hey, i just came across the video that was shot for this commercial. here is the clip ...
  9. this just arrived about thirty minutes ago. all the best.
  10. yes, i went to my local ad and they do not carry this model. as far as winning them ... as stated in my original post, it was a friend of mine. he actually lives in another country so i don't have the watches in my possession. but, he knows i'm into watches and asked if i could find out what they are worth. anyway, i found a few online in other countries and was able to convert the price for an accurate u.s. value. they are both in the $300.00 range and if anyone is interested, he mentioned that he would like to sell them! simply make me an offer and we can work something out! all the best. chris.
  11. thanks but that's not the correct model. it seems that as though these are not available in the u.s. all the best.
  12. hello, a friend of mine recently won two tissot pr100x watches (pictured below). he has no idea what they are worth and i wasn't able to find any pricing online. do any members here own this model and if so, could you please shed some light on pricing etc. here is the tissot link for reference. thanks and i look forward to hearing back from some of you soon. all the best.
  13. although i never attempted to change the finish of anything, i did switch up two pam bracelets. an all brushed ss one and a titanium and polished ss one. my goal was to create a titanium and brushed ss combo that i could not find, and still don't see anywhere. first of all, it is very important that you have the right size screw drivers as it is easy to strip the heads on the small screws. i removed all of the back screws ... sixty four to be exact and it took me roughly two hours to complete both bracelets. what i ended up with was the titanium and brushed ss of course and a regular polished and brushed ss combo. i certainly wouldn't do it again, it is worth the money to simply purchase the bracelets as is. unless of course you are looking to kill some time and a few brain cells. sorry for the small pictures, but that is all i could find on my computer. all the best.
  14. may not be quite what you're looking for, but what about the pam 049. here's a couple of my wife's on an oem blue gator ...
  15. my newly acquired swiss pam 183 just [censored] the bed too. i had it for 3 days ... not bad!
  16. when i was first introduced to panerai, i fell in love with the pam 091. i now have the genuine but am curious to see if they ever rep this model. the factories have all the right tools now with the anthracite dial now available on the pam 089. i think they should go for it! use the anthracite dial in a titanium case, brushed ss bezel, titanium lever, brushed ss crown guard and a titanium and brushed ss combo bracelet. use the applied markers (brushed ss) and dial layout from the pam 165 and you're good to go. even i would buy one ... simply for comparison and a daily beater. would anyone else like to see this discontinued model available as a rep? here is a wrist shot of my gen 091 ...
  17. i too bought from the ebay seller ... and pietro, i beat ya to the punch!
  18. i just saw this posted over at paneristi. they're onto us! new engravings on the inside of the deployment ... check it out.
  19. i don't think so. a lot of times people will steal other members descriptions, especially if the product is selling well. here is a homer auction for reference. all the best.
