A dear friend has asked me to help her with research concerning her late husband's PATEK PHILIPPE.
She is mainly concerned with finding out more about its' value.
18k gold
2 pieces made per year
Where should she go in the NYC area? Does Patek Philippe have offices there?
Thank you
Greetings all,
There has been a lot of discussion and comparison over the years regarding dial variations.
Has anyone scrutinized differences in the case construction or documented any significant variation?
Thanks.
Thanks z80.
That is my understanding too. In fact Ubi reported these dimensions earlier in the week:
14060 - 26.8mm
16610 - 27.2mm
I was wondering if anyone had successfully made a swap.
Although the Radiomir inspired look does not appeal to me, I agree with all the other members that have commented before me. The quality and attention to detail in these pieces are second to none!
Do you have any plans for any other designs?
Has anyone attempted or successfully installed a 14060 dial in a WM9 Case?
Thank you.
Several generous members here have reported that the 14060 dial is slightly smaller in diameter that the 16610.
Thanks R!
I am not sold on the no-date idea but it may be ruled out by the size. I wouldn't be opposed to using a gen 16610 dial or something else that may share the same dimensions.
Hello Community,
I have been thinking about the possibilities of installing a gen dial into my "Project X" sub.
I would not mind trying a no-date dial if there is one out there that will fit.
Does anyone have a chart or a resource that shows modern and vintage Rolex dial diameters?
Thank you
Best wishes Doc on your wedding day. If I were you I would wear the AP. IMO it is a more elegant timepiece and the tourbillon fits in well with the Star Wars theme.
