  1. Hey Guys, I wanted to give something back to RWG. Someone recently asked me about Pin removal and I have seen the question come up a few times. So here is my shot at the answer for an Omega Seamaster Pro 2254.50.00. I hope it's helpful. ~ Greystash's Guide to SEL Pins ~ (Removal and Replacement) Cheers Greystash
  2. Thanks for that FxrAndy, I hope you're right, these rep bracelets sure do seem to be good quality.
  3. Hey Guys, This one is a little obscure
  4. How do you articulate the problem to the authorities at ebay so that you are taken seriously? Do you just shout rep at them, or is there more to it?
  5. Is this what I think it is.... Omega Seamaster on eBay ....the worse rep of the 2254.50 ever made?
  6. Very nice work BK, nice looking Sub. But even better is the effort it takes to create a post like this...well done mate.
  7. How about the fact that someone offered to pay 10 grand for a Noobmariner.
  8. I love the first line in that review (in the Rolex Forum) that makes sure everyone knows on what side is the real Rolex. edit
  9. I have a musk case, the main problem in my view is the lug holes are a little close to the edge if you're considering drilling.
  10. What about a metal lathe? Could you machine out a groove about 3mm wide and 0.5mm deep into the inside of the caseback? That could give you the screw clearance.
  11. Though the path is a little convoluted, I would have to say it did in my case. I have admired Subs for years but over the last 9 months I have gone from
  12. Exactly guys, And on the dial the gap between the top of the omega symbol and the 12 marker is also a little bigger than most. But the dam movement looks spot on.....dirty but correct. This is the only one that I have been able to find that has the same spacing between the Omega and the 12 marker; it was posted here by Marrickvilleboy. Marrickvilleboy IS THAT A REEPPPPpppp???
  13. There are small differences between this watch and all of the gens I can find on the web. I thought rep until I saw the movement. My hunch is it's an older model gen, but I can't find one like it.
  14. Looks clean; nice work Pug.
  15. Oh thats good. I had to laugh though, there I was all super serious taking off my first set of hands, surely it would be the same as the clocks that I have worked on I thought. Almost got it.....just a little more pressure on this cool tool that I made for the job....and then....PING....Oh dear....that kind of just vanished over my left shoulder there. That
  16. Ha, that's better than firing your sub secondhand across the room. (I never did find that one) Its looks great Laz. They always do don't they. It's funny I was thinking about buying one of those just last week; you just made up my mind.
  17. Sorry Pugwash, I assumed Laz was asking about the wider web.
  18. Carefully insert a small flat blade screw driver into the access hole on the back of the bracelet and pull back the pin. Once one end of the pin is out, do the same to the other. It's pretty easy....
