Five month follow-up:
Runs great, keeps excellent time (COSC standards), and the steel on the bracelet has the best finish of any brushed steel bracelet I've ever owned.
Old pic:
I second Noel's sentiments. BK has fixed several problems for me, once on one of his watches I bought from another member.
(Found this thread while looking for the WM9 thread I started. Search function wouldn't reveal it, so I have to search manually. )
Thanks, TJ.
I used to wear gold all the time. Now I have this one, which I wear 1-2 times a month, my TT YM, which I wear weekly, and a RG 183, which I'm hit-and-miss with. The gold reps tarnish quickly here and require regular upkeep--I'm too lazy for that!
I bought this one from Silix a year or so ago. I asked for a Seagull model but got a 7750. The hour subdial should be tracking the hour hand. (Silix has never sold the one with the fixed hour subdial, to my knowledge.) It was a very nice watch and very accurate time-keeper, but too light for my tastes.
It's a complicated story...
Paul Newman never wore one with a colored dial.

I bought my wife a D40 a couple of years ago. I like the images that come out of that camera better than those my D80 produces, at half the cost!
I use a Tamron 90 macro lens with my D80. I bought it 2nd hand from Adorma and it's a great lens.
If you're never going to use the macro lens as a portrait lens (which you really should do), then get the manual focus. That little 60mm AF-S full auto focus will double as a great little 90mm (equivalent) portrait lens! I use my 50mm 1.8 almost as much as I use my 18-200mm VR.
Also, Lawrence sells several 21J models, some for $82 shipped:

(He's a recommended dealer on RWG1.1, but not here.)
Doesn't Reg (Narikaa) sell these, too?
Here is one from Andrew advertised as having "thick lumi" markers and 10 mil thick gold wrapping:
That's about as "lumi" as a DJ gets. (Still, it's rep lume, so who knows how bright it will be?)

Not a bad looking watch for $248.
