These are so nice... If we could just get BK to apply some Super Luminova, they'd be nearly perfect.

I have dozens of gen pens; Mont Blanc, Parker, Waterman, Visconte, Nakami, and others I can't remember. I have 2 rep pens. They were both crap. Both were rollerball and ran out of ink within a week. On one, the cap won't stay closed. The other one, a Mont Blanc RB from WBK, is just pure crap. If you're looking for a fountain pen, you can get a decent Lamy for under $100, or a Nakami Vanishing Point for about $120. I have too many pens, all you need are a few good ones.

It's not the lens, it's the size of the sensor that collects the light. With Nikon DX sensors, multiple the lens length by 1.5 to get the actual focal length. 50mm on a DX is a 75mm lens. 100mm is a 150mm. 35mm is about 52mm. That's why the 35mm lens is considered a "normal" lens on a DX camera. And so on. Canon chip is slightly smaller than the Nikon, so Canon has a 1.6X factor.

Look at the difference in the "6" date font. Josh's "Swiss" version: Yours: Yours looks like the date font of the cheaper versions. The 6 is too wide, IMO. I'm fussy about that. You might not be.

Having nice watches that didn't cost very much, and putting the extra away so the kids can go to college.

Luming costs about $150, but it'll beat any rep lume hands down. If the watch is a keeper, consider having it lumed.
