  1. Anyone actually buying any watches?
  2. Perfect, Rebel! That's what we do here!
  3. This is how all my Breitlings wear, except possibly the EVO. They are top-heavy and flop around your wrist if you don't strap them down tight. I wear them less frequently than I would like because of this. Yet they sell like hotcakes.
  4. "Use Super Viagra and you will be ready for breaking any of the sexual records."
  5. "Your lady will be enraptured by your sexual performance." Or so I've been promised...
  6. RWG has been down before, for weeks once as I recall. All efforts at trying to relocate the database have fell on deaf ears. I don't know why Blade won't let it go. He hasn't participated in, what, 3 years? 4? I'm starting to feel that Blade is the Wizard of Oz and JB is that mustachioed man at the door that keeps telling everyone to go away. Turns out, the mustachioed man is the Wizard. Could JB be so modest?
  7. I say sometimes justice is slow, but...
  8. Haven't done it this time, but I've done it many, many times. The danger that comes with pulling the crown out and messing with the hour hand--necessary to re sync it with the GMT hand--is that the watch will frequently stop running, as it did a second ago after I wound it through 72 hours. It then takes some vigorous shaking to restart.
  9. Thought I would dredge this thread up for a report. It's 6:10 pm here in California and my GMT hand says it's almost 10:00 pm. The GMT hand is running crazy fast. The watch occasionally stops in the middle of the night, or the day. Well, at least the hour, minute, and GMT hand stop. The second hand keeps running around the dial like crazy. Sure is a nice watch, though. I charge up the lume and can easily read the time at 5:00 am. I hope the DEEPSEA is as nice.
  10. "Exceeded bandwith" Ha! All 7 regular posters? Unless we were all looking at the Girls., girls, girls, thread at the same time.
  11. A nice black Sub is a lot of fun.
  12. Yup. Puretime. http://www.puretimewatch.com/index.php?productID=276
  13. On that day, Sunday, it said $388. I think that's what I paid.
  14. I saw the CHS up for sale again on PC.
  15. Ordered and paid for on June 8. Received Sept 2. One hell of a long wait. BK's specs: I waited until too late in the day to take the pics. The rotor sounds a tad loud to my ears. The bracelet is a typical "noob" bracelet and needs serious oiling. I've WD40'ed it but it still needs oil. I've filed the edges of the links but they need a second treatment. I must say the SSD feels better on the wrist to me. I admit, though, that having to wait so long for this watch soured me a little toward it. Maybe I'll feel differently after oiling the bracelet.
  16. Looks like the GMT-II C: same bracelet, clasp, case, Maxi hands and hour markers. A Sub with no diver's extension? Polished mid-links? Is how the gen looks?
  17. If you're on a budget, get the Nikon D40. You can get it for $499 now with a fabulous kit lens that focuses very close. You might not even need a macro lens. Then pick up the 80-200 VR for less than $200 and you're set. My wife has the D40 and the images that come out of that camera, especially the people, are better than the ones that come out of my D80. I say Canon or Nikon. Sony is a close 3rd.
  18. It has to be cut to fit. Like this one: It's easy. You just do it a little at a time. I wear mine a little large but it doesn't flop around on the wrist like a SS band would.
