  1. It's so nice I would prefer to see it on leather.
  2. I have 2 of these. This has a silver dial. It looks white in the pics: It cost me $209. I have a seconds-at-six from Josh. This one is not quite the same quality as the one from Josh, but very close. The bracelet doesn't feel quite as nice as Josh's. I got this one from Silix: The gold on the original bracelet started to flake off after 2 months. The replacement they sent is much higher quality. This watch looks and feels like one of the best made replicas I've ever owned, the GMT-II C included. I don't wear it as often as I used to because I've shied away from gold lately. Guys who go for accuracy over reliability won't have these watches because of the subdial spacing. So far my seconds at 6:00 will run all day, stopping only once, but unless I get it serviced I think it will probably conk out some day. These models should be more reliable and I don't care much about the subdial spacing. No one I rub elbows with knows what a real Daytona looks like. I think they're great watches. Here's my watch from Josh, for comparison:
  3. My father-in-law is on his 4th Samsung. In less than 2 months. Best Buy brings out a new one and before the week is out the sound stops working. We've had an LG for about 3 years now. Love it.
  4. Only watched half, though. The wife's in the next room...
  5. The good thing about buying the super cheapos is, they're easy to sell if you don't like them. The bad thing is, once you have some really good reps, the cheaps look, well, cheap.
  6. I paid $270 for this lite version.
  7. Does the clasp pinch your wrist?
  8. Lots of good Subs available. Welcome to the site!
  9. We can give him a small hint: the TRL is only found on quality reps.
  10. Good karma? Nice looking set.
  11. I know, I know. But, these damn macro lens... What I really need is to get away from the watch boards. Then everything will appear normal again.
  12. The GMT hand doesn't run in the 1st position. It only tracks the hour hand. The hour hand moves in the 1st position by jumping hour-to-hour. I'm sure that's what you meant as you have the same watch. Meanwhile, I reset it and this time everything lined up exactly. We'll see. Other than the GMT hand the watch is very accurate. I may just learn to ignore the errant GMT hand.
  13. I had everything synced up, again, yesterday. Now I look at my watch and it's 9:10. The GMT hand is pointing at about 2300. Every time I get everything lined up right the GMT hand races ahead until it's 2 hours ahead. Then it stays there. Who knows what's going on?
  14. The lume dots! All I see on these are sloppy lume dots! I can't help it.
  15. Someone asked that on RG. I checked out the site. Doesn't look bad. Prices are reasonable. Their pictures don't look stolen. Shipping is reasonable. All they take is WU and bank wire. That leaves me out because I don't know who they are and don't care to send my hard-earned money to someone I don't know. With no recourse should anything go wrong. Why don't you buy some watches and review them for us?
  16. I worked in a poultry plant after high school. The chickens were killed with electricity. Sprayed with an electrolyte solution and zapped. Here in nutty Calif, the animal fascists want to mandate that chicken cages be larger so the chickens can stretch out their wings without touching another chicken. This would add 50+% to the cost of a dozen eggs.
  17. We hope no one comes in and sees the sheep. But now I'm curious. Why?
  18. Why the 5-1 ratio of female sheep to male, John? The Spanish government doesn't care what you do with your female sheep on your own property?
  19. IMO WM9's DDs are way overpriced. Lots of differing opinions on how long gold watches last. I'm wearing one from Josh today. I've had it over a year and the gold shows no sign of wear. It's a daily-wear, though. If you get the plated versions from Trusty or Perfect Clones, you'll get the best plating available and excellent followup service. Also, if you're looking for a specific model, check out Ruby's site, nicereplica.com. You can send her a picture of any watch you want, whether it's listed on her site or not, and she'll likely find it for you. All for $200-220.
  20. Lawrence is a good dealer. Slow, but good. Thanks to Arty we all know about him!
