  1. Not the same person but share the same server. Hey, mumurphy926, getting the new D50?
  2. Still waiting for my BKmarine, Black. Ordered early June. I think I was the last to get in on the order so I'll be last to get my watch.
  3. I joined the rep forums in 4/07, mostly RWG1. Just a year and a half. But it seems longer because I've been buying reps for 2+ years. Today's forums are old news for old dogs, but new news for noobs. It's new and refreshing for noobs. A discovery. Remember being taken in by the fake review sites? No? Many are. The scammers like Bluef**ks, Go Replicas, et.al. How refreshing it is to land here after slogging through that quagmire. I try to comment on review threads with real, meaningful comments, but most don't appreciate them. My kind of pictoral "reviews" seem to satisfy most. Just pictures with a few comments. Things, and people, do change. Still, noobs need a safe place to land, a place where they are safe from being ripped off.
  4. Hey! The beauty of the Nikon lens is apparent... I love that rubber band and clasp. I don't care much for the dial, but that band...
  5. Sigh... Guess I'll wait a bit. Sure is a nice looking watch.
  6. Ya. Mine survived the water park, but that's not even the same as swimming.
  7. Thanks. Most people don't appreciate good photographs.
  8. Oh good. Can't wait until I get my commission check. What a stunning dial! And lume!
  9. I can't even stay up that late (early?) anymore. I pass out before midnight now.
  10. Here are photos of my new Super Avenger from Perfect Clones. A few of them have been slightly sharpened to "pop" the details of the dial. The dial is stunning in good light. (These photos were not taken in good light.) The metals accents of the subdials and the metal of the hands and hour numbers sparkle and gleam in the sun or under good lighting, like a jewelers lights. You already know how big it is, but are a few shots of it next to the Skyland. The clasp is a bit fuddly, but it latches cleanly with some care. It must be worn tight on the wrist. You don't want something this big flopping around. Overall Impression: a very well-made replica and a joy to wear. It probably won't fit under most of my shirt sleeves, though. Lastly, the delivery of my SA was delayed because Josh was sending me a replacement bracelet for my Skyland Avenger. Now it's ready to compete for wrist time with the SA and GMT-II C!
  11. I'm wearing this old watch today:
  12. Nice Sub! (I think.) Good digicams are cheap these days. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000NK6J6Q/?tag=kenrockwellcom
  13. I discovered my "good" winder is malfunctioning and that this GMT-II C was about 12 hours behind. When I went to change the date I turned the crown the wrong way and moved the GMT hand instead. Oops. Took me 3 days to get it running again.
  14. Dave doesn't know how to search.
  15. Posh doesn't post often enough to be VB.
  16. I forgot to add, I'm the "official" photographer for our girls' soccer games. I use a 80-200 2.8 zoom, but my pics don't look like yours! I'll post a couple when I get home. (If I don't forget.) I was set to sell my D80 and get the D300, but I've read some troubling things about excessive noise in the shadows
  17. Nice job. I see you have some pro glass. Love that bokeh
  18. Relax. The week is about over (for us on the West Coast of the U.S.). Time to chill. (Be sure to watch it all the way to the end for a good laugh. )
  19. I'm not feeling the love for this one, Dave. Pretty funky looking. The bracelet looks way too thin, as well. Nice pics, though. Next you'll be shooting for Breitling ads.
  20. Got their e-mail today and ordered it. What a deal! My Nikon D80 will fly!
