  1. Normal. Handed over to customs. Released by customs. On your wrist in a day or two. Always goes this way.
  2. I found a shirt with sleeves big enough for this to fit under:
  3. I have some shirt sleeves it will fit nicely under, some it won't. Not what I would call a "dress" watch. But, wear it out on the town. If someone tries to accost you, clout them over the head with it!
  4. This came in today. Ordered from Joshua on 7/23, shipped out on 7/25, arrived on 7/29. A heavy watch, as you know. Despite that, it feels balanced on the wrist, likely because of the excellent bracelet. I removed one link from each side and tightened the micro-adjustment one notch to make it fit my 7.5 inch wrist fairly snugly. It started up with a few gentle shakes. The manual winding mechanism feels surprisingly solid. (Still, I wind very s l o w l y.) Shiny bracelet links sparkle and shine, but easily collect finger smudges. The pics: In the shade the dial looks blue due to the AR, I suppose: Next to my SSD, for size comparison: My 4 Breitlings, for size comparison: Next to the EVO: My only minor niggle (word borrowed from the Brits ) is the date font seems "packed" into the date window. I like how the white accents stand out against the black dial. Very striking. A keeper for sure!
  5. Too much male posturing and blowing of hot air on rep forums.
  6. Ya. I get watches faster from dealers who ship via registered mail than I did from Silix. Sometimes an extra $30 off isn't worth it.
  7. I've read, many time, where both Josh and Andrew have replaced watches that stopped working up to a year after purchase. I once read a post by a member who said the watch was over a year old when Andrew replaced it. He said he hadn't worn it very much and so Andrew replaced it. Stated warranty periods and actual service sometimes differ. And, although it's not really the topic here, don't but the damn thing if you think it's priced too high. You can still get Asian 21J watches for less than $100. If that's your budget, buy them instead. Too much bitching about high prices.
  8. I bought this watch from Josh in April, 2007. I wear it 2-3 times a month and the gold shows no wear. Of your 2 choices I'd probably go for the Serti.
  9. Here's another oldie-but-goody:
  10. One of my favorite old posts from EL. Eddie Lee:
  11. +2 White Avenger and black Skyland.
  12. Black on rubber: (V1 but visually the same from this angle.)
  13. A guy named Lawrence runs that site and gives excellent service. I've bought from him a couple of times but have read dozens of good things about him. Communication is fast but shipment is slow. Takes 10-14 days to get your watch. He ships out of Malaysia.
  14. It's hard to tell from their descriptions and pictures, but I smell a rat. Hopefully you'll get a decent watch. Hopefully you'll get a watch, period.
  15. Freddy surely favors the white-dial models, doesn't he?
  16. You know the favorite replica watch fora question, "If you could only keep one watch
  17. +1 second over the past month. Will run 5-8 seconds slow one week, 5-8 seconds fast the next, but overall +1 second over a month. My best timekeeper ever. Spends most of it's time on a good winder.

  19. Nah, TTK carry a grudge? I don't believe it!
