lol Pugwash, I took a glance at the photo when I was scrolling up and I thought it was a gun until I got a proper look. Was gonna post "Don't shoot!" lol

Congrats on making it that far and on the great family. So many people just don't know how to make it work. I'm currently going on 8 years with my chicky and hope we can go the distance like you guys. Maybe get a Bullwinkle of our own so I can make him do all the hard labour. lol

Thanks. It's great what you can get in the mail. *grin* I keed. I keed. I'm a cheap date.

Screw it. Not too worried about the fuzz. Here's my girlfriend* (future wife; just waiting till I get finished school to make it official since I think it'd be pretty dumb to get married when I don't have a job) and me. I paid extra for a gen too. lol

That Sarah Silverman rant was pretty damned funny. I loved when she was talking about the prison bars being painted like penises to make her feel more at home and then said that she might break her teeth on them. Read somewhere that Paris was overheard saying "She's a f#%$ing [censored]. I hate her" afterwards. lol, looked like she wanted to cry when everyone was cheering. I personally don't really care about Paris (enough so that I've never even bothered to look at her so called porn). I simply don't understand how someone can be famous for absolutely nothing. Perhaps she she get props for pulling that off... And it's not like she's going to "real jail". Gimme a break. She's gonna get cushy treatment and be even more famous because of it. Stupid world we live in.

Nope, but pretty sure I saw one in a porno yesterday.

NP. Hope you weren't offended in any way by my comments. Glad to hear that you will be setting up a proper web store. That's just so much better IMO.

Was just thinking about that cause I guess that I personally don't like the idea of the gold flaking off. Perhaps wouldn't be a big deal if it were easy to re-plate cause I've seen some mention of Artisan Plating during my search but it also looks like they've become non-responsive recently with speculation that they may have caught on to the watch cases being reps. I've seen some pretty nice watches with plating but I don't think I'd ever risk buying them (with one exception that I'll get to later) because I don't want to worry about the plating get rubbed off or what not. What are your opinions on buying plated reps? I guess that would depend on how you view them - as being disposable (that you don't mind tossing if they get ruined or stop working, etc.) or as something you'd like to keep (which is my view). I also realize that some reps are plated better than others or have the "solid gold" links but that almost seems to be a toss-up from what I've read so far. Anyway, the one exception I mentioned earlier is something like the Breitling Chronomat Evolution with the gold subdials, crown and chrono buttons. Before that, I was thinking that I might be interested in getting the all-white version of this watch at some point and putting it on a brown croc strap but saw someone post the TT version and it looks quite striking. Kind of got me rethinking the whole idea of no gold on reps but only because it seems that the areas that are plated on this rep aren't ones that would see a lot of "action" or acidic sweat. So, like the topic asks - what are your thoughts on gold-plated replicas? Do you ever stay away from a watch you'd like to buy simply because it's plated? I know that lots of you do buy these reps (from the reviews and obviously there is a market for them or they wouldn't be made) so I'd also like to hear your take on doing so. Oh, also forgot to add that I guess I would consider buying a plated rep if it were something I'd only be wearing on special occasions or something i.e. not that often.

So I was wondering how you choose what watch to wear?

Bring some aluminum foil. *** Okay, I'll stop making stupid comments in this thread now. -

Hope it wasn't a Speedo aka banana hammock otherwise you were at risk of getting Bar Mitzvahed yourself; possibly a second time (if you're Jewish). -
Great watch. Congrats on your new purchase. Been reading some very good things about TWP recently and will likely purchase from him in the future. My last deal with Ruby was great and went off flawlessly but I don't like being worried about customs issues (especially given the whole replicas fund terrorism crap combined with the fact that I am half Lebanese so have an Arab surname).

Magic 8 ball. Never failed me yet. Also good for marriage proposals. -
lmfao That is hilarious. Thanks for sharing.

I never really saw your old website so can't really compare but here are my comments: - Seems like a poor use of space as everything's centred in the middle of my browser window with a huge empty area on either side. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. - Your font is very, very small. I have Firefox default to a minimum of 12 point font on all websites which is enough to make everything perfectly readable on my high-resolution monitor. I can read your text but it is fairly tiny considering that I am 27 years old with pretty good vision. Might not be the best thing for people with poor eyesight. - I like your FAQ and S/H info. Very detailed and descriptive. However, I do not see any mention of what payment methods you accept (I admit that I may simply have missed it). It is my opinion that this information is absolutely necessary as it is a large part of my purchasing decision. I'm willing to bet that the same goes for some other people. - I do not like that your Photobucket album is a javascript pop-up. I really, really do not like that. I'd prefer if it opened in a new window or tab. I have my Firefox browser set up to open everything i.e. pop-ups in a new tab rather than a whole new browser window. Somehow, your javascript ignores that (which is weird because it works fine on pretty much all other websites). I actually copied the link address, pasted it into my address window and edited it so it would open in the same page. But I guess that's a personal thing. - This may be your personal philosophy (and I know lots of other dealers do it) in order to stay under the radar and what not, but I dislike not seeing prices on things. I dislike it enough to just not bother contacting the dealer and going back and forth with "How much is X? getting a response and then "What about Y?" and so on and so forth. This is not such a problem when an individual knows that they want one specific watch but if shopping around (and changing your mind) it becomes a bit of a pain and a deterrent to buying when the shopping experience becomes a hassle. Some are willing to deal with that to get the best price but if I'm busy, then I'm just gonna say screw it and buy from a dealer who makes the process painless even if it costs more money. I know this may not matter to you and your business model and some may feel like telling me that if it's such a bother to just use another dealer (which is fine by me) but thought I'd mention it so you can get a potential customer's perspective. I'm sure that you're quite aware that it would save you a lot of time as well. So that my "criticism" is constructive, I'd like to suggest that you make available a downloadable or online price list on your main website since I can understand not wanting to include that information in your Photobucket album. It would be relatively easy to cross reference the two and make for a much more painless shopping experience. So let's say that I see a VC Overseas on your album, I can just check the price on your website. So there's my $0.02 [edit] Forgot one thing. You say on your website that, "We are in the midst of upgrading our site, visit our photo album for our products." Does this mean that you are going to have a fully functional website similar to the other dealers and the Photobucket album is just temporary? [/edit]

Enjoy your break The Zigmeister. I've had my Link w/ the 7750 delivered (haven't got it in my hands yet as I'm still out of the US) but I hope to send it to you in the Fall to get serviced. Good thing I didn't plan on trying to get it done before then since you're unavailable in any case. -
Sweet, that's my birthday. I wonder if they have a special collector's edition available. Maybe in hot pink.

lol, I was just gonna say that he could have probably slapped a little mark-up on it.
-
lmao, that would be too funny. Just make sure no one realizes it's you or you might be eating your watch. Hence, it's better to get a replica of this beauty. lol

Yeah, it should as well as any other suit you can buy off the rack in a store. Then just take it to a tailor for some minor adjustments. Shouldn't run you too much money to do that. I'm personally gonna experiment with buying a tailored suit off the internet with my next one. Dunno how that will work out but it's something I want to try. If not, Kenberg's suits look really great from the pics/reviews I've seen so far. I'm just disappointed that I can't get into his store without paying for yet another forum access and I'm not willing to do that at the moment seeing as how I have no intent to buy until maybe around September. At that time I'll consider it.

I guess that I'm gonna be the odd man out but that Graham is horrendously ugly to me. Don't flame. It's just my opinion. [edit] Actually, the Chronofighter wouldn't be so bad without the crown guard, but the other one...meh... [/edit]
