  1. One of the drug reps that calls on our offices complemented me on my EL Breitling GT. He wears a no-date Sub(non-vintage). I thanked him and told him I got it from the Bently dealership in downtown Chicago.
  2. Or you could just put on some rubber dishwashing gloves and unscrew it. That has never failed in any watch that I've tried it on even genuines.
  3. Well, I am one of those types that takes off casebacks. I have adjusted my watches to be within about +2 to +4 seconds a day. The Bently GT from EL is special in that I was able to adjust it to within +1 seconds over the last 5 days total.
  4. I got my wife a TT Datejust with Roman Numerals and silver face from Paul. She really likes it.
  5. Honestly, this is what I'd do. I'd get the 005 rep. Have The Zigmeister fix the recessed pin, relume it, get an aftermarket crown and have zig overhaul the movement as well. For about $600 you would have one that Mr. Panerai couldn't tell from the real one. Save the mone. But if your really want a gen. I'd get one with a date display.
  6. I have a ExII from EL with the gen handstack as well. Bugger to regulate it though(I think because of the extra gears).
  7. From the review: " I cannot think of another consumer product in which the gulf between the publicly perceived quality and the reality I saw is as broad as with the Explorer." I guess the reviewr hasn't heard of Bose speakers.
  8. That's great. Makes me seriously think about getting a moonwatch
  9. That really sucks. It's just wrong to do that after all that Andrew went through to please the customer.
  10. If you have to ask.... Seriously, the watch is not out yet and will come out the early part of 2007
  11. http://www.seikospringdrive.com/sonnerie/sound/index.html Listen to the bell sound. Awesome.
  12. At least you can't fake the car. I love my GT from El too. What size strap? 22-20?
  13. Ok. I've figured out how to multiply using the sliderule. Line up the numbers you want to multiply and read the answer across from the 1.0 on the inside scale.
  14. That is one of the oldest scams in the book. Using pictures of genuines and sending a watch that looks nothing like the gen once they safely have your money.
  15. any info on how to use the slide rule on the GT? I have seen the instructions for the Navitimers but the GT sliderule is different.
  16. Omega Moonwatch. Easily obtainable from many different sources for less than $1500.
  17. Well, on TZ someone bought a TOG that didn't have "Turn-O-Graph" printed on the dial so it is possible that things like that get past the qc.
  18. I made the choice and got a GT from EL. You cannot go wrong with it. Black dial with white subdial. No movement issues so far.
  19. I really wanted to read that thread but I got hypnotized by the avatar of speedy1 on the first page on this thread http://replica-watch.info/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5284
  20. 1. Pan 192 overhauled and relumed by Zig. 2. Exp II with correct hand stack also relumed and overhauled by Zig 3. TTK 4th gen PO.
  21. Looks nice. Although, traditionally I think of Breitlings with the double-stiched riged bands.
  22. The Secret's Out......For....ever.....
  23. Interesting about the jeans. Levi jeans material is made by Arvind Mills in Amdavad, India and you can buy jeans there that are the exact same quality a lot cheaper.
  24. Moonwatch is something that I'm going to buy in the future.
