It really is strange, but they work well together oddly enough. I checked my mail on the way to work and the strap had arrived. I was wearing the Milgauss that day, so I figured why not try it out?

Just wanted to share a few shots I took yesterday. For those that don't know, this is my older cartel 177H on historic brown strapculture Legend.

I originally got this grey NATO for a yacht-master. By the time it arrived a month after purchase, my YM had found its way onto my friends wrist for his wedding. I'm a nice guy, so it intentionally never found its way back. What to do with this spare grey NATO strap now? Well, for now... I think it gives more presence to the Milgauss. It looks larger on NATO. The combo looks great to me. I'll rotate it into the repertoire.

Remember that old thread where one of our members had some really nice watch decor ideas setup in his house? I remember there were framed watch pics and he had Rolex and Pams on top of square cubes or something? Anyone remember that thread and if so any idea how to trick this forum into locating it via search?

Is yours an UPO? Josh or Andrew (perfect clones or trustytime respectively) will sell replacement bracelets for ~$40. Email one of them if need be, the bracelets aren't listed on the sites.

If ever there was some spare bracelets around here they'd be UPO's. I'm sure someone will chime in with some parts. Worst case scenario you buy another bracelet- ~$40.

I agree with you that i'd rather have a gen 16610 (and I will) anyday over a rep. My pining away is besides the point... I don't fully agree though, that backdoor action isn't taking place. Torture at one factory whilst next door the CNC is blazing rep cases out by the 1000's? Whats the difference to a gen manuf? they'd put an end to both if things were really that tight. Take your example, ETA. Isn't their factory doors freshly closed? Maybe the front ones.. And out the back comes all of these new ETA clones we have. It's an interesting theory.

This is a great little paragraph! -We know gen components are being produced in China. -We know only a percentage of Swiss watches (35%?) have to be assembled in Switzerland in order to get the "Swiss Made" pedigree. -We know that some reps are being touted as 1:1, made from genuine, and/or accept genuine parts. I put these facts together and wonder if that same plant thats making gen parts by day, opens up at night and pops off an extra 2,000 pieces to be used as "reps". Remember the scandal over the ceramic big bang bezels? How else can we explain some of what we see? Whether this is a fact or not is something I often ponder, like say, whenever I put my SFSO on.

It is a great idea, and the pink DJ is really sexy. That wasn't directed at you TMG. I'm just chafed that women actually want to wear those ugly micro sized watches. It's like trying to convince someone pizza tastes good. Why do I have to even convince you? it just is!

wearing mens watches has always been an option, its nothing new. The original thought of having more womens selection and an easier way to find them is a good one, imo. A lot of women want those small womens watches (unfortunately). Narikka's got a womens section as I was recently reminded. Try looking there.
