  1. Gio she's going to flip. Its beautiful.
  2. Ok Robbie this isn't funny anymore. Anyone heard from this guy? Maybe Victoria knows where he is.
  3. Oh stop it. I don't know about these slackers, but I lost 50lbs. Looking forward to doing the vintage SeaMeister. Its yours when you're ready.
  4. fantastic write up and pictorial. And he did a lume job! Thanks for doing this G. Everything looks tip top, enjoy that watch!
  5. Took a swim with me yesterday, wound up putting it back on again today.
  6. Thanks M, I think I will be holding onto it.
  7. So you think I got duped eh? I'm pretty sure this is an ETA. A watchsmith was, too. Thanks bud. Its surprising simple, all you need is a loupe.
  8. A little excessive. If his goal is to collect every single stainless sub, I don't think he'll ever be able to satisfy himself.
  9. If man enough means growing a vagina to avoid wearing those, consider me first in line at the gene therapy laboratory.
  10. very good, otherwise that would've marred my opinion of Panerai a bit. Again L, enjoy that beauty.
  11. I agree. Have an ETA dropped into your PO. And get another watch!
  12. Hoooly [censored]. That is gorgeous. whats with the jagged looking crownguard finish in the first pic. Just go's to show, gen or not perfection is a myth. This one is REALLY close as a watch in general.
  13. This is the "classic swiss ETA" version from Josh at PC. I've taken a liking to this watch, and quite a few pics along the way. I'd like to share some first time movement pics, and some oldys but goodies, too. Away we go.. This is an interesting look back 2 years ago at what you got for $250, movement wise. I haven't seen much of this, especially not recently. Pearling, blue screws. Even a purple gear! (thats not rust on the case surround, just debris) Look how easy it is to take close ups. This is a 10 year old Fuji Finepix! 2836-2 I promise. My very first watch pic. Taken shortly after its arrival. NATO Fashion faux pahs.. My eyes!! Martini time, cruising the Caribbean. Granted, I never need an excuse for a martini. Or to repost this picture. Posing for my bracelet rattle fix thread. And It really works. If you haven't tried it, click HERE! This sticker was pretty good. Almost.
  14. early to mid 1990s reps I remember being really horrible. polished and brushed surfaces were thin layers of metal applied on top of who knows. Cast iron? Your arm would turn green. The endices on the dial would fall off in a few weeks. They ticked. They fell off your wrist. things just progressively got better and better. I was hanging around RWG1 a bit before landing here. My first piece was from Josh, a 16610. Nickle ETA, pearling on the bridges, really sweet. Probably surplus mvmt, but it is surprisingly nice. All for about $250. The details are nowhere near Freddy standards, its wokked, but I like it. Enough to want a gen, or at least a BKV2 sometime. I've swam hard with every rep except my PAM (because of the strap). The SFSO sitting on the desk right now, that thing kills me. Good times.
  15. I think T is probably filthy rich.
  16. See that TAG haters? That watch is a classy & timeless. As are you B16, great review!
  17. In light of BT's thread, I'm resurrecting this! on the 360- Forza2 quantum of solace COD4 & world at war gamertag is my forum name.
  18. Looks fun, im going to try it out. I love cars, play Forza2 on the 360 often. Strayed away from the PC games with the 360. Am you did a bang up job on that Audi!
  19. All of you guys are breaking out some serious business this week. Laz your killing me with the UN. Today:
  20. The closest watch at hand that was still wound, I wouldn't care. The only thoughts i'd have about my watches with 24 hours left to live would be deciding who I pass them onto, they are some of my beloved posessions.
  21. completely random for me. 95% of people pay no attention at all to watches. 4% may notice my watch, then have this sort've non-spoken conversation going on in their head for a quick moment while eye f#cking my wrist, nothing gets said. The other 1% make comment either because they are WIS, they noticed the "brand", or they just liked the watch for whatever novel reason. I do notice women checking out my watches, but again nothing is ever really said.
  22. Excellent photography work. Another banging review from D4M!
