That looks good with the tats Lan.
Hit the pistol range with these two today.
Dont remember if I ever posted this pic, but in keeping with the theme, why not.
My simple DIY bezel tightening went sour, you should know since your bailing me out.
That being said, thanks for pre-saving me from another possible DIY disaster.
Exactly I was going to quote him, but decided in favor of your quote of his quote.. er.
25 words or less.. Beautiful watch, beautiful photography. Thanks for sharing, wear it well!
Great review, its like getting a new issue of a favorite magazine!
I sent the link to your review to my father. He's wanted this watch since the 70's, but $8,000? Anyways, I never found a TT I felt comfortable recommending (I don't like recommending gold plated reps, nor do I like gold in general), but this might be the one! Currently he's wearing the SS ETA sub like mine.
Is this version exclusive to eurotimez? I don't see it on josh's site.
Wow Rod, unbelievable. This forum never ceases to amaze me. I've seen so many random acts of kindness it just puts me at a loss for words. You are the man!
Sir L, PM me your address, i'll get some your way.
PM'd
Wow. you are very kind. I am pressed for time to reply while at work right now, sorry I have not gotten back sooner, I was not on the boards the past day or so.
That is the part I need, and honestly, I just need one, maybe an extra for spare? is this doable?
so, in short, yes! I can use one if you can make it, and thank you very much for offering to save an otherwise perfectly fine watch!
hahaaha
I have one large caliber handgun, one nicely-trained trigger finger, and one gen (a TAG at that )...
It's just not worth the odds.
Good lesson about watching where and what you say though.
Ok, onto the bribery then.
I have a noobmariner dial, datewheel, and mag for anyone that can source me this tiny little pain in the arse piece.
I have an idea to try and MacGyver a replacement. If successful i'll share the trick.
Josh can't source this replacement part.
You guys are my last resort for suggestions ("be more careful" would be a good start).
All the modders out there and this has never come up?
exactly. Although, my hole was around 8:00. Doubt it matters. Especially now.
Maybe I will have these tiny bits of metal fabricated and sell them here and become a millionare.
...I hope josh has one.
I popped the bezel off of my 16610 classic ETA sub from josh. The little spring loaded metal nub that the bezel ratchets against is gone. Its the little metal piece that sits in the hole in the case, atop the spring, under the bezel.
Im an idiot. Anyone have an extra? Anyone know where to source a replacement?
Guys, she's trying to abscound with my 177H. She has worn it to work today.
Last night when I asked if she wanted a polished case, titanium, PVD, she said "like yours".
Do you remember my 177H, the watch with a mind of its own, that decided to unwind at EXACTLY the stroke of midnight?
The watch that, for some strange reason looks nice next to a pair?
Vic, we will definately appreciate you helping her narrow things down a bit. Im a bit out of my element with the Pam's per se, it was hard enough picking my own out.
thanks for the help everyone. I'm a little bummed about the breitling, suffice to say we got the "thumbs down" advice by others as well (as far as longetivity, etc.) so its a no-go for now.
