  1. I know right? I was working for Equity Residentials IT dept at that time. I'm 29. Can't expect to have nailed down the perfect dream career yet.
  2. Dont know about the drama Lani but you've always been ace's in my book so...
  3. Some serious machines! I've outgrown fwd and stopped modding my SE-R after the basics from nismo (i/h/e/etc..). For years Ive wanted a 240/silvia for a project car. Someday. This is my daily driver-
  4. I thought it wasn't the size of the post, but the message it delivers? er... Grats TT. Now if only you had a $1 for every post.
  5. my pam on a brown strap, if this helps you. strapculture.com legend historic brown strap with match stitch.
  6. Monday. A good day for a martini. And a 16610.
  7. Sup Doc? Nice to see that you are over here. Just as good a post as it was when I read it originally on RWG(1?).
  8. Nothing new for me.. Its ok, this gets the job done.
  9. orioinal esoape... Poor guy needs to find a trusted dealer. Thanks for the good read OS!
  10. this sounds like a easy and worthwhile mod, thanks for sharing. The buckle/clasp seem thinner and of less quality then the gen. Would you say after sanding, the flip appears even more thin and flimsy? Maybe if you could get a shot of the flip thickness after the mod, that would help. Thanks again, yours looks like it came out great.
  11. I can play a bit of the piano and guitar, I would love to learn how to play the violin. Anyone hear play? I've heard it is not an easy instrument to master. Im looking around on craigs list for a cheap violin now...
  12. Kinda like the mickey mouse watch with little mickey arms right ? Except instead of Mickey, Chuck is printed on the dial and the hour and minute hands look like little legs doing round house kicks. RWG14 classified.
  13. assuming its a stainless steel bracelet with no plating, I suggest you try some break-free or wd40. spray it on and let it soak in a little bit. Work the oil into the links with your hand. Hopefully that will aid in getting it apart, then you can wash the oils off and reassemble. Good luck.
  14. Were they worse then the scratches that build up on the bracelet from everyday wear? Do you use any do-it-yourself methods for touching up your bracelets? Something like fine grit sandpapers, or cape cod cloth like corgi mentioned?
  15. Definately a gen. Another tell to look for is on the 6,9, & 12. Their top surface is flat on the gen, whereas they are more bulbous and arched on the rep.
  16. Congratulations Stephane, thank you for sharing. Wear it in good health sir.
  17. Glad it worked for you, Chuck. After this initial problem, the watch has run flawlessly ever since. and the quality never fails to impress me everytime I wear it.
  18. Been wearing this for the past week or so..
  19. Extra points for strapping on your most fashionable new years count down machine tonight! Happy new years to all, be safe kids.
  20. Genuine watch sales will follow the economy much like fine art, or exotic car sales do. As long as there is desire for a specific genuine brand, I don't think rep sales will interfere enough to matter much at all. Do prints, or kit cars impact the art or exotic car markets? Anyone buying a monet or Murcielago is going to have definitive proof they are the genuine article. Lest we take into account the precious stones and metals the gen's are made out of which will always hold their value, for much of the same reason the watch "brand" itself will- desire, with of course a splash of human greed.
